I received the first of my 2 orders today. As stated above the box is hardly a cut-out at all! I am super happy.
I also ordered Rhoda Season 1...the slash in the barcode is more like I expect a cut-out to look like...you can easily see it...but is not too bad and I am still happy to have it for $9.98.

Mine just arrived and it's in the original box. The mark on the barcode is really more an indentation - it didn't even cut through the paper.

Thanks for both the original post and the coupon code. I live nearby their warehouse and just picked up a copy. They were kind enough to honor the coupon code for the pick-up. I can confirm that the UPC code is very minimally etched.

There were four copies (minus my purchase) on an endcap. It's a huge warehouse, so I wouldn't be surprised if they had more copies on hand.

I'm in Canada and not sure if shipping would kill it and really am not keen on ibputting a CC just to find out.

Received my stuff yesterday. The Garry Shandling UPC cut wasn't bad at all. I'm very pleased. Only one of the 7 items I got had a UPC cut that I'd call "deep". It was Mr. Belvedere S3, which also had very poor shrinkwrap. I haven't opened it yet, but it looks like it was repackaged. I'll open it tonight.

No idea. Most of us don't need to, cuz they charge flat rate shipping in the US. The FAQ says:
We happily accept international orders. International delivery will be charged at actual cost and will vary with the weight of the order.

So I guess you have to go through the checkout process, up to the point it calculates shipping. However, you can enter a test c/c number just to get past that screen. You can't process the order with this, of course, but if you are just trying to get past the c/c number screen to get a shipping quote, enter VISA number 4444333322221111. This is one of the numbers I use when I train our software.

on the fence on this purchase. Would you guys consider this series superior to The Larry Sanders Show? By the way, I'm a huge fan of Seinfeld and Curb. On a total blind buy which show would I probably enjoy more?

Larry Sanders is a very different show. They are both great. I resisted watching Seinfeld when it first came on because the premise sounded like a rip off of It's Garry Shandling's Show. Of course, they were much different in the execution and I came around thankfully. I still think that when Jerry counts his money, he ought to thank Garry a bit. It is worth a blind buy at this price. I used to have Showtime in the day just for this and the show Brothers.

They're both good Shandling shows, but Larry Sanders might be a bit raunchy in scope as it aired on cable versus his first show, which aired on FOX. CYE is an extension of Larry david's comedy with him in the starring role versus the tamer Seinfeld, but they're OK shows, depends on your taste in comedy.

While it may have later been syndicated to Fox,his first show was a Showtime exclusive as was Larry Sanders to HBO.

Thanks to the original poster. Daedalus Books has a few storefronts in the Baltimore-Columbia area so I was able to pick up a copy in the b&m today - very pleased as well, barely noticeable cut-out mark over UPC. What a great deal!!
