Stargate SG-1 Complete Series $79 @ walmart.com F/S to Store
Super bargain for all 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1 in the LE box set! $79 + tax with free shipping Site to Store:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/7934693
Stargate Atlantis Complete Series is also $79, but only 5 seasons so not as good of a bargain. Still the best price I have seen, however.

I literally JUST finished watching SG-1 on netflix yesterday. I think I would have sprung for the set at $79. Unless someone here has a reason for why I should buy it, I think I'll save my $ for something else.

$79 is the cheapest price I've seen so far. Walmart.com had it for $79.99 back in August, so this is 99 cents less!
I've been keeping track of this item because I've heard a few people say it was interesting and I thought someday I might want to watch the series, but as usual I've never actually seen a single episode. I did buy the Continuum and Ark of Truth BDs for $5 each on BF at Walmart which I kept even though I'm not sure if I watch them now if they'll make sense or be a big spoiler.
As tempting as this is, I'm going to wait until (a) I actually get a chance to watch some episodes to see if it's worth $79 + tax or (b) it gets a lot cheaper to justify a complete blind buy. Either way I'd probably never get around to watching it any time soon. I'm still slowly working my way through The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Monk, and The Incredible Hulk which are sitting next to my TV. The other 100+ TV series I haven't even opened are still in the closet.

Don't watch those without watching the series first. Not only would they be spoilers, I can't imagine they would be remotely enjoyable without knowing the series. They are available on Netflix streaming if you have it and want to check it out.

Just keep in mind that the series goes through changes over the years. It started off on Showtime, so had some nudity, before moving to Sci-Fi. There were also some cast changes in the later years, with Richard Dean Anderson taking a lesser role and Ben Browder taking over (and Claudia Black joining the cast as well, which should please you if you are a Farscape fan), not to mention the season without Daniel when Corin Nemec joined the cast.

Of course I mean you can have Amazon change it for you when you order it. I've done it three times when it hasn't shown up in mine. Only once did they say that it was against any sort of rules, but the rest of the time they gladly changed it and apologized. I guess YMMV but it's worth a shot if the tax from walmart.com makes them the same price without it.

I said that it was in "the gold box." It may have been a coincidence but I could swear some purchases and/or product ratings caused items I've wanted and known to be gold box items to appear in my box. So I imagined it was random, not customer specific.
