Best Buy Media Prices (February 27th - March 5th, 2011)
I don't see what I want, no listing for "Reboot: Seasons 1 & 2" set. The website is listing it as $24.99. But with my luck, my store won't be carrying it. In fact my store doesn't seem to be stocking titles from Shout Factory.
Anyhow, here's a closer image of that *cough* exclusive...

Just an FYI for anyone interested in Gossip Girl season 3 for $14.99. The set that includes the free charm bracelet (not that any guy here cares for it) is not on sale. It rings up as $39.99.
The regular non-Best Buy exclusive set is $14.99.

If I were going to buy Supernatural S4 (which I'm not ready for yet having just started S1), I'd pay $5 more to get the Blu-Ray from DVD2BLU (of course you have to pay tax and order at least $35 for free shipping). I find it so hard to buy DVDs these days knowing the Blu-Ray exists or will soon (like gold prospector saying "thar's blu-rays in them hills"). So I prefer to wait for a deal on the Blu-Ray, and on a mostly dark/at night series like this, Blu-Ray helps.

that's for the complete series box set which I believe has different discs than the season 1 and 2 set. (Just got my copy from amazon. on the back it says 23 eps. on the sticker it says 26.)
But they do have this posted on the Shout Factory website
Please Note: There is a text error on the navigation menu on Disc 1 of the ReBoot series. When navigating by episode, the second page of the Season One episode list says “Season Four” where it should read “Season One.” Rest assured, the content and images contained on that disc are, in fact, taken from Season One. Thanks to the dedicated fans who have brought this to our attention. Please enjoy your ReBoot DVD comfortably knowing you are indeed enjoying the correct episodes in the correct order from Season One.

The problem is still the same. My Best Buy doesn't stock Shout Factory releases. I was all set to buy "Dark Skies: The Complete Series", but they didn't carry it.
Why not buy it online? I perfer to see the item in person, examine it - give it a shake (floaters) and see which copy is in better condition; from slipcover to seeing if the security sticker is attached to the wraparound. I do buy online, but most of that is used. And the bulk of that is hit or miss. For some reason people believe 'mint' means the disc can play, not a description of the overall condition, flawless.
Man, I've lost so much money on Ebay over that.
Anyhow, they used to carry them. The last release from Shout (at BB) I bought was "Tales Of The Gold Monkey: The Complete Series".
