I double dipped, but I don't know if it is worth it either. But seeing as several of my Scrubs seasons are still sealed, I figure I can unload them and at least break even...

Is the information that it only has French and Spanish subtitles correct?? If that's a fact, then it kills it for me, I need the subtitles.

I'm a member of the dvd club. It was 50 % off all sets and you don't have to buy one at full price first. My membership is VIP, so I don't know if the offer is different for those who haven't fulfilled yet.

I saw that.. and decided NOT to buy this set.... cause I know if I do... 1) it will be forever before I actually watch it. 2) by then the price will be much less and make me sad. 3) I can use this as another validator that I pay for Netflix. 4) on Netflix, seasons 8 & 9 are HD. ....

Damn. I almost wish I hadn't known that... Granted, S9 isn't necessarily worth watching a 2nd time. I saw it when it aired, and I think that is enough for me...

Sadly, it wasn't worth watching the first time. What a disappointment. Even so, I put this show in my top 10 of all time and if it had ended at season 6 or 7 it would have been in the top 5. At $65 this would have been a steal, but I can't pull the trigger at the current price.

Once Braff left, season 9 improved drastically. I'd watch it again.

I am bummed I missed this deal! I'm also a member of the Disney club (I don't know why considering I haven't ordered anything in a couple years, I think) so I logged in to check out this deal. Each season is included in the 50% off sale, but not the complete collection set. You can get the set for 60% off (about $53), but you need to buy something of equal or lesser value (about $135) so obviously not a deal.

Also, I find it funny that people rate the show lower on their all time favorite list because of the later seasons. I guess I would rate a show based on the most enjoyment I got out of it. If a show gives me 5 hilarious seasons that I could watch over and over, then the remaining seasons wouldn't matter. I get taking it as a complete collection, but just enjoy the seasons you enjoy. Same with The Simpsons, etc.

I was late to the party on this show. I watched the first 5 seasons via downloads over the course of a year and then picked it up live with season 6. I enjoyed it all, including season 9. Maybe I just didn't get burned out on it since I watched 5 years worth of episodes in 1 year.

Anywho...I'll be waiting for this set to drop to this level again for sure.

How much would it be if you purchased the seasons individually at 50% off? Would you be able to get every season this way? I am thinking about joining the Disney BD club, so would this be a way to fulfill the account?

I would have bought it but I bought it off ebay for 53 but now I'm not even sure the guy has shipped it. Ebay removed the listing, didn't say why.
But the guy emailed saying that he did ship it.

If Ebay removed the listing, I would be a little worried. Perhaps this person is selling bootlegs. They wouldn't just remove it without reason. Someone must have reported something suspicious with the seller or auction...

It was a new member with just 1 or two listing. they also removed his account. I'm still waiting for paypal or ebay to credit my account or I actually receive the item. I filed a claim the moment I got home from work.
