Hey guys,
Long time reader and first time poster. Your posts always help me find some incredible deals to add to my collection and I figured I would pass along this deal that came into my inbox today.

PBS Store is doing a one day deep discount on some Ken Burns products. I know they are usually pretty over priced, but these are lower than usual. I don't have any other codes but they are offering free shipping as well (looks like its media mail though).

Here is what they have -

KB Baseball 2010 Boxed Set - $45 (list $99)
Jazz Boxed Set - $65 (list $179)
National Parks DVD and Blu-ray - $50 (list $99)
The War - $40 (list $99)
The Civil War - $65 (list $99)

Since I am a new poster I can't post URLs but hopefully one of you regulars can hook everyone up.

I haven't tested any of these, but one coupon site lists the following:

Free shipping: 296722 (although it looks like free shipping already applies to this automatically)
10% off $75: 287102
20% off $100: 287154

Also note that there's a link at the top to sign up for their mailing list. Do it and they immediately email you a link to get 15% off. (That brings Baseball down to $38.25 shipped, for example.)

Free shipping seems to require signing up for a 30 day free trial of Shop Runner. Anyone had good or bad experiences with the 30 day free trial?

I had passed on the baseball set at $50 and was ready to do so at $45 before seeing your post. Thanks, I think. ;) 5% cash back to help offset sales tax. A pretty good deal. Hopefully it won't drop further in price before I get a chance to watch it sometime in the next year.

I thought so at first and was turned off by that since it's one of those trials where they charge your credit card after 30 days. However, there's a banner at the top indicating free shipping sitewide. When you check out, it's the media mail option (7-14 days) but the shipping charge is removed.

I taped all of these off TV when they originally broadcast. I've wanted the DVDs since they came out. I was planning on biting at $50 from Amazon, this deal is much better. Cool that it also includes the 10th inning (which I haven't seen). I was going to buy that on Blu, but I'll take the DVD.

I haven't ordered, yet, but I might make an exception to my "no more DVDs" (only Blu) rule.

Nevermind- please ignore my posts (unless you live in states #49 and #50 ?). In the shopping cart I found a clarification:

Estimated Shipping and Handling: 5.95
Based on ground shipping within continental U.S.

I'm not in the continental U.S., I'm in the 50th state. That is probably the reason. Thanks for your help.

You get free 2 day shipping with the free trial. You get free Media Mail shipping today without the free 30 day trial.
