Thanks for someone finally answering a question I posted long ago. At the time I read this thread and looked at the items on Target the comments in this thread were indicating that only the $16.99 titles worked and no Blu-Rays, so I didn't bother. I peeked one more time today to see that the answer came too late now that the sale is over.

Re: Target CyberMonday Movies (2 for $16 TV Series & BR)

14 of the 18 items in my 2nd order are being prepared for shipment. They split 4 items into a separate shipment. All of the 6 items in my original order are also being prepared for shipment. So I don't think I need to worry about cancellations on those... BTW, I tried the promo code another time just for kicks, and it is indeed expired.

Re: Target CyberMonday Movies (2 for $16 TV Series & BR)

I have got all kinds of weird charges on my account for my Target orders. 2 for the full price of the two orders I made, some temp charges for 1.00 and a total for something that may be a partial shipment. Maybe because I got to the submit page so many times trying to make sure I got the discount on everything ... I guess it will all end up OK... but you may also check your CC account.

Also at B&M:
Lipstick Jungle S2 4.75
I Dream of Jeannie S4 8.99
Bewitched S5 8.99
Arrested Dev s? 12.99

and some others ...

No one said it didn't work for Blu-rays; you misread it. The OP clearly stated it wasn't working for Blu-ray TV sets:

"FYI, promo code seems to only work on the DVD sets and not BR sets for TV series."

Re: Target CyberMonday Movies (2 for $16 TV Series & BR)

Last night I ordered:

Gone with the Wind BR
Wizard of OZ 3-disc BR
Close Encounters BR
Warner Gangsters Collection V.1
John Wayne-John Ford Collection - Bought as a gift.
Marx Bros Collection - Already ordered at wbshop.com so this will be a gift.

All for $8 each. I would've bought more, like the Battlestar Galactica sets, but I didn't want to spend that much money at one time. Great deals.

All exept Wizard of Oz are listed as being "prepared for shipment". YAY!

I received my notification yesterday, but expect it'll be a few days before I see the items (MTM S4&5, Eureka S1&2).

Cool, I like how there were awesomely-priced quality blu-rays hidden in the guise of a mediocre TV DVD sale thread...

Re: Target CyberMonday Movies (2 for $16 TV Series & BR)

Got a shipping notice today. They indicate that "part of the order shipped for faster service" *but* the confirmation email shows all 4 items shipped and I've been charged for 3 of them. Hmmmm..... online indicates "Pinky and the Brain" V3 is on BO. Guess I'll know for sure in 3-4 days...

Does Amazon fulfill these orders? I just noticed in an e-mail from Target that it said: mailed-by bounces.amazon.com

I ordered 30 Rock season 2 & 3 and they have yet to ship.

There's some connection. On my first order, I used my Amazon.com sign-in info instead of a Target account.

Re: Target CyberMonday Movies (2 for $16 TV Series & BR)

I got an email message that some of my items (Desperate Housewives Season sets) would be delayed and that I need to approve them. Their system is very frustrating! First you logon to your account with your order number and email address. Then they will send you another email with a link to a secure site for your order. You get to your order page and you get a message that you have to approve the delay. Of course, there is no link or button anywhere to approve the delay!! Finally, had to call their 1-800 number and was on hold for 20 minutes. Got the person to approve my delay, then told her that there was nowhere online to do it. She said that you could. I explained to her step-by-step what I did and she just hung up on me! Never again Target.com!

From the email:

**Important note for Guest Checkout users: If your order was placed without creating an account, your approval of the delay is not required. We'll automatically keep your order open unless you contact us to cancel the order. However, we may need to cancel the order if we have subsequent delays with shipping and availability. If this happens, we'll notify you by e-mail. You can also view your order details and tracking
information, using the link above.**

Making an account is easier for checking an order status.

I got an email for a delay of Wizard of Oz BR until mid-January! Some of these items may endup like the orders of the Lord of the Rings trilogy; canceled.

Less than an hour after I approved the delay, the 5 other items in my order shipped. I think approving the delay means they'll ship backordered items separately, while by not accepting the delay they'll wait for the backordered items to get back in-stock before they ship anything. Possible theory?

Re: Target CyberMonday Movies (2 for $16 TV Series & BR)

I had to approve my delay of LOTR, and had trouble finding the button at first as well. After logging in directly (NOT following their link) I was able to approve the delay. Off to check my Target orders now. I hope mine aren't delayed...

Indeed. You only have to go through that email status check if you used Guest checkout. And it makes sense since there's not an account with which to store the info.
11 of the 12 items I ordered in 2 orders have shipped so I'm thrilled with Target. This turned out to be a great deal. Thanks to everyone who provided the sale info.

Re: Target CyberMonday Movies (2 for $16 TV Series & BR)

I had to approve a delay for Cheers S4 and Fight Club BD. Only one item out of 24 has shipped for me (Psych S2). I'm shocked nothing from my early order of 6 items has shipped. Just about everything says "shipping soon" but I won't relax they do...

Very odd... They have shipped 16 of the 18 items from my second order, which was placed 12 hours AFTER my first order. Yet they haven't shipped anything from my first order yet... The only difference is I used an amazon.com account with my first order, and a Target.com account with my 2nd order. I wonder if that is why... I should have just re-ordered those 6 items in the 2nd order. They would have been slightly cheaper, and apparently they would have shipped by now...

You got S4 as part of the 2 for $16 sale? I didn't think that one was eligible. That's the only one I still need...
