No why the concern here? There a million things sold as bootlegs on ebay/via amazon sellers, but I've never seen so much worry in any other threads.

Nice touch with bringing up terrorists though.

This made my day.

the only way to truly tell if they are PDVD's is to media id the disk, and check the region code. The box wont say anything but 1, it looks JUST like the US set.

I got a kind of flattish set off eBay and the seller is trying to convince me it's just another version. The outside looks real enough, but inside there's no cardboard partitioning at all, just plastic DVD sleeves.

Definitely fake, right?

This is the way I see it.

I received the genuine packaging. The DVDs look amazing. If they are bootlegs, I don't give a flying fig. If I can be satisfied with the quality (which I am, in spades), then they could come from my Aunt Sophie's basement for all I care.

I didn't get a box set, but I did receive a hand signed apology letter for this going out of stock even though I successfully ordered one. They promised they'll work on their system that allows this mistake to happen. :/ Personally, I'd prefer a gift card.
