Wow! I have to agree. The only two out of that group I saw was Don't Look Now ($5 price tag at my store, I think it was old stock) and Sleepwalking.

Didn't see those martini movies... Great haul, especially with the coupon...

Not much to report from the Milford, MA store, although they had almost a dozen copies of Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter for $3.

There were others but that's all I remember. Most were single films but a few romantic collections. About 7 or 8 boxes stacked on metal shelves. Easy to pull out and look through.
...saw all these at Puyallup WA

I haven't been to BL in awhile, but am intrigued at finding GRAND HOTEL so cheaply. I saw it today in a BN for 19.99 -- no way. Is that title popping up somewhat regularly at BL?

Sigh....

Misread this and went all the way to the Sherman Way/Coldwater BL and found absolutely nothing. A waste of time and gas and a new rage filled hatred for every copy of that fucking Jude Law ALFIE.

If anyone in the SoCal area can find me copies of the COOPER and BRANDO sets, I will gladly reimburse you.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I hit the Casselberry FL store (436 and Howell Branch RD) Sat. Got a call as I walked in the store so I had little time to dig as I had to leave pretty quick. I did find the fairly new animated Wonder Woman direct to video feature for $3.00. Also grabbed some Paul Walker flick called Lazurus Syndrome? He is not the best actor around but after watching Running Scared I'll usually give anything he does a chance.

Not much else in the Sanford FL area. The Lake Mary Blvd. and 17/92 store has been trickling out a few of the newer things, but they still have a ton of inventory from Christmas so it seems they may be holding back. I'm still hunting for the President's Anaylist and My Own Worst Enemy

Same here, but they all had huge slashes through the barcode. I passed.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

My GH barcode was slashed but I wanted the movie more than the packaging...I was a little surprised it was $5 and not $3.

The Troy NY store had some new stuff Sunday and while a few titles intrigued me ("Oliver" DVD/CD combo and "Strangers With Candy" Season 3), I left empty-handed.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

No $5 sets or additional Martini Movies, but did find:

all $3:
Loonatics S1
Joe Schmo S1
Macon County Line
King Kong (2005) 3D
Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer - Double Feature (More Than Murder / Murder Me, Murder You)

Lots of copies of the same stuff, but not as much variety as other posts suggest could have.

Thanks. The Garment Jungle is the one in which I'm most interested.

Wow, those are some butt fugly covers. Sony/Columbia continues to use the "Kindergarten" feature of PHOTOSHOP when they produce their DVD art.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Pearl, Tacoma Wa put out a batch of $6 Previously Viewed Television box sets. Weak, 2-10 year old titles. I'm guessing they're Blockbuster or Hollywood dumps. All have individual cases & art, no outer boxes, though.
