I went to BL last Sunday night in Tacoma, WA. I was thrilled to find a copy of El Dorado (Centennial Collection) there, which was $5. It doesn't have this beautiful cover, but nonetheless I'm very happy with this find. There were only 2 copies at this store.

Some good titles being found..unfortunately Big Lots has spoiled me with $3 DVDs that the $5 price point doesn't appeal to me anymore.

Meanwhile, I stopped in at the Torrance store on Sepulveda and saw that they got in a few titles that I know weren't there a couple of days ago. But not many and the only ones I could identify were "Bee Movie" and "Goin' South".

downtown la. They had some kidnapped left but I don't if they have more Ned and stacey I might have got the only one. They had bunch of other good stuff. I had like 8 titles in my hand but I put them back seeing my DVD buying is getting somewhat out of hand, so I just got 2 

I've been buying too much also, but I hadn't ever even tried a BL until the last couple of months, and it feels good to be paying $2.50-$3.00 on stuff that I might have bought from Amazon at $5-$7.50 in the past. I'll slow down soon, but for now these bargains have been a good change of pace, and I know that there are worse ways to spend money.

Saw these tonight in the Trenton, NJ, BL. Thought about buying them but couldn't imagine what to do with the outfits after removing the DVD, or whether the DVDs go back into the jacket easily for storage, or how to store them, or what. They were cute, though.

I bought both the leather jacket Grease and the Saturday Night Fever, and both DVDs go back in the covers very easily. I also have a cutoff sweatshirt one for Flashdance. It's definitely a funny little gimmick, but I still haven't figured out how to store them on my shelves yet.

I saw The Garry Shandling series here, several disc, $3. That's about the only thing new I found.

Haven't seen Ned and Stacey S1, Kidnapped or Huff, but have seen What's Happening S3. Never saw Samantha Who S1 and 2, but did see FF TAS, General Hospital S1, Zorro S1 V5, Clerks Uncensored and Island at the Top of the World 30th (All from the Disney batch).

Two stores I frequent seem to have gotten a restock of Disney titles, or they only put out a partial shipment at first. It seems that some DVDs only make it to certain areas of the country, as all Big Lots I have gone to in my area have the same DVDs in the Disney shipment, but no Pooh, Enchanted, Jay and Silent Bob or Samantha Who?'s.

I don't know why, but I do like these. Others that I have seen (not at Big Lots, just generally)

I would assume that by General Hospital S1, you mean GH: Night Shift? I think that's the only GH-related thing on DVD.

They've really got the adds & shipments mis-timed. The last for the 2 packs was 2-3 weeks late.

I wonder if the fact BL is advertising some of those Disney titles (I'm assuming the ad in my area will be the same) means that my BL stores will actually decide to put out some Disney titles. So far zip zero nada when it comes to Disney. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen any Disney studio title at any BL store. I'd love to get my hands on Donald in Mathmagic Land and a couple others mentioned, but if they do have any Disneys it sounds like it'll be High School Musical and Hanna Montana which I'll pass on.

^^That is fairly typical with BL the past year or so. DVD shipments arrive, get picked over, *then* a week or three later the ad comes out.

At my BL stores, at least regarding the Disney titles, it'll be the reverse. The ads come out and then (if I'm lucky) some of the Disney titles will show up. I haven't been for about a week, so maybe they already came and went. I just know that I got tired of stopping by and not finding them, and most of the time if you call the 1 employee who answers the phone (also the only one ringing up sales) won't know if they have any of the Disney DVDs and won't be willing or able to go look. So I stop by BL only when I'm already driving by and have 10 minutes to burn. To make a special trip there hoping for certain titles ends up in disappointment for me most of the time.

The BL around here put the Disney movies out about 2-3 weeks ago. I found HSM at one store, HSM 2 at another, and HSM 3 at another one. Seems no one is touching the Manna Mantana dvds. Was hoping to find the two Dwayne Johnson Disney movies, but no luck.
