Honestly, it's a little hard to say since the DVD rewards that have popped up have been the first of their kind. Strictly my opinion, but I'd be surprised to see them come back in stock. I've redeemed points for a dozen different things over the last couple of years, all of which are no longer available today.

Just got an e-mail from MCR saying they had some gift cards at 50% off for the holidays for a limited time. When I clicked on the link, it takes me to a page of new items including the DVD sets we've been seeing.

Seems to confirm that these deals are temporary and that new stock won't be arriving since the e-mail indicated to act fast because supplies are limited.

Somehow I managed to find the 123 more I needed in only 3 days, so I grabbed The Simpsons earlier. I hate that they have American Dad volume 5 because I paid like $20-$25 for it just a few months ago when it was released. I hope they continue stocking DVDs in the future. Much better than a half year subscription to EW or an 800 point Fanta t-shirt.

Once in a while, there may be a day where you receive extra credit for entering points.. From my experience, even when those days come up, they're "restrictive" such as receiving double credit for all Powerade caps you enter on a given day. Usually there's a little bit of advance notice on their site prior such as a promotion so you could plan for it.

I choose to just put codes in as I get them. As we've all discovered, the best rewards deals often don't last long. I want to know how many points I have and be able to claim a reward when it's available.
