I ordered mine a few days ago when i first heard amazon price matched the 17.99, and then came back on yesterday to find the code for 5 dollars off. I simply messaged them last night stating that i tried to use the code (which i didn't lol) and it didn't work and if there was something i could do. they Emailed me back pretty quick and gave me a 5 dollar refund back on my credit card. Probably was so easy because of all the other complaints from yall lol

After I found out about the code, I e-mailed Amazon and within the hour, I had a response that $5 would be credited back to my car. Amazon CS rocks!

Had ordered 3 copies @ 17.99. After sending two emails yesterday (one in the morning, one around lunch time) I decided to cancel my order and re-do it using the code. That worked great, got 15$ off (5$ each copy)

This morning I get an email from amazon customer service apologizing for my troubles and giving me another 5$ credit towards a future purchase!

Kept seeing this thread getting longer and longer so I thought I'd check it out. The enthusiasm here has me sold....I haven't seen the show, but I'm blind buying it.

A little disappointed that the estimated arrival date is October 7-13, but oh well.

When I am at the checkout my shipping/handling is coming out to $7.98... anyone know why? I only have the Community item in the basket.

This is just the biggest mess I have ever run into w/Amazon Customer service.

So I spoke with Chris @ Amazon on the phone yesterday and he said he put a note in the computer system that as soon as my shipment is delivered, he will credit $5 back onto my card.

Today I finally got a response to my 2 emails I sent 2 days ago. This woman said she has requested a $5 refund for me and I should see it in 2-3 days.

So now it looks like I'm getting two $5 credits?...

If you don't have Prime, and are obviously under $25, that explains why you are being charged for shipping. Dunno why it is that high, but it sounds feasible. You may want to check out the Hot Deals thread to find out how to get a free 3 month Prime membership...

I had to cancel my original order, because I couldn't get the code to work. When Amazon finally updated its system to allow the code, I finally got it to go through.

I'll have to keep the start of the second season on the DVR until I can breeze through this set. Can't wait.

My copy was shipped today and sent by USPS. I have Prime and this is the first time they have sent anything USPS. It isn't expected to get here until Monday.

I want my 2-Day shipping.

I also have Prime and they have sent a couple of my recent purchases via USPS. It's not really a big deal though because they were sent Priority which only takes two days (for me at least). I assume it has something to do with cutting costs? I'm not sure.

It's funny how different people got different responses. I got an e-mail today saying:

"Hello,

According to our records, this promotional offer did not start until September 22nd. The problem you encountered was likely due to a mis-communication between Amazon.com and Sony regarding the starting date for this offer.

I looked into your most recent order #002-6893440-3656622 and can confirm $5.00 promotional certificate was applied to this order."

Too bad I canceled that order and ordered it when the code started working.

For once it actually paid off to get in on a deal late. I had no problems using the coupon last night. Got 2 for $25.98 shipped since I don't have prime. Plan to sell one on Amazon Marketplace once release week pricing is over. Should bring my total outlay below $10

With all the promotions they have giving it away for free lately (Amazon Student, Amazon Mom, etc.), there is no excuse to not have prime.
