Damnit! Two bonus discs for "The Office" Season 6. Ugh. Going to have to figure out a way to get my hands on both. Seems dumb that Target's bonus disc would have the extended episodes on it though. In the past, extended episodes or "producer cuts" as they've called them, have been available right on the disc itself. It's going to be kind of annoying that these two episodes won't be available on the same disc as the other episodes that would be on that disc, and instead have their own disc. Ugh.

It strikes me as odd that both Best Buy and Target have bonus discs. Usually Target's been the only one with the bonus disc and a semi-regular package and Best Buy has had a bunch of extras in an oversized package.

Going to have to check out what the bonus discs have and then will probably decide between the two; I have a feeling I'll end up getting the Target one.

Also going to pick up Sara Bareilles' new CD, seems as though it will have the iTunes bonus track as well, which I appreciate because I hate when artists I like have iTunes-only exclusives.

Well I'm gonna hope that the Supernatural Season 5 bonus disc's 100th episode featurette is a feature-length documentary much like Smallville Season 5's 100th episode extended documentary from the Best Buy Bonus Discs. And I also hope that I don't go in to Target and find a bonus disc comes with Chuck Season 3 or Smallville Season 9 either like the un-advertised Vampire Diaries bonus disc.

Thanks OP, looks like nothing at Target for me this week.

Just Sara Bareilles' new CD due to the exclusive tracks (managed to cancel my Amazon order in time). While there's a lot of TV on DVD I want, the prices tend to fall after awhile and I'm behind on most of the previous episodes for them as well.

new Interpol for me. i really want to get that Supernatural bonus disc, but i'll wait a few weeks to see if the price drops further. the special editions of Target items haven't been selling out right away, at least near me. I still saw Dexter S4 with the bonus disc this week.

best buy's supernatural bonus isnt a bonus disc, it is a keychain of the chevy impala.

My Target Ad from my Sunday paper had a few price differences,as well as listing MacGruber in the new releases.

MY Target Ad....
Supernatural Season 5 $39.99 DVD or $49.99 Blu-Ray
MacGruber $16.99 DVD or $24.99 Blu-Ray
Office Season 6 $34.99 DVD or $44.99 Blu-Ray
Smallville Season 9 $34.99 DVD or $44.99 Blu-Ray

and the "save $5" is not save $5 if you buy both Wall Street and Solitary Man but if you buy both you get a $5 gift card.

This is just a heads up.

In case anyone cares, Target has an exclusive edition of the new Heart cd, though they're not advertising it. 2 bonus trax, for a total of 12. $9.99

Thanks, I'm in the East Coast...may I ask where you are from? Does anyone know if it is common for Target to different ads?

Ah ok. Thanks I'm in NYC. I know that Walmart has regional pricing, but never thought Target would too. I guess I still have much to learn :)

Neither did I to be honest. But yeah I knew about Wal-Mart as there are 2 wal-marts within 10 minutes of each other and they have different new release sale prices.

I'm on LI and I have one 15 minutes away. But the Target is closer and nicer. And it has the same prices as the posted weekly ad.

I can confirm that each of the Bonus Discs from Best Buy and Target come in separate "envelope" packaging within the set, not on a disc holder. Best Buy's disc has blue writing on it and Target's has red.

Well my visit to Target was a bust. They didn't have The Office with the bonus disc or Sara Bareilles' CD. They said they didn't receive either.

I wish we could go back to when targets bonus discs were actually part of the packaging. Targets sets were usually slightly larger because they either had to use a 2 disc tray or had an extra 1 disc tray for the disc. I guess in this economy the manufacturers are trying to save every penny they possibly can.
