I don't know if this has been mentioned on another tread but just in case I went to Bestbuy today and found out each season of Boys Meets World for $9.99 each. My girlfriend bought it instantly

It looks like amazon has them on preorder for ~$1 or $2 more, released next month. Maybe there was a reprint at a lower price?

Lionsgate picked up the rights to release the series. On 9/7 they are re-releasing seasons 1-3. Not sure if I should pick these up or just get the new releases later on...

I think these are the new releases. If you look at the release date, it says 2010. I imagine Best Buy just got the early release exclusive.

These are the lions gate releases, I picked them up today myself. Some stores are breaking the street date. In my case the signage was on the shelf and I simply asked them to find them and get me some copies. Because it wasn't a big name title or in the ad, they seemed to have no problems putting them right out on the floor... I say this while midway through the first season as I type!

Can someone let me know if the same special features that appeared on the disney releases of seasons 1 and 2 have been ported over to the lionsgate rereleases?

I think so? The packaging says that the Season 4 ep is included with season 1, season 2 has a video commentary I believe, and S3 has a featurette. I might have mixed up which seasons get what.

I have copies of all three seasons for review and they look like the exact same disc contents as the original releases.

Picked 'em up today for $9.99 each; great deal. My Best Buy actually had signs indicating the sale for these DVDs. I really hope Lionsgate follows through and releases Seasons 4-7.

I was able to get them to match the online price and take the 10% off even though they were on sale and new releases. So for those thinking about getting this set give that a shot! $9 a season is an awesome deal.

I already had all three seasons on DVD, but I might buy at least one of the re-issues to help the sales.
