I have seen this several times at both Target and Best Buy for around 10 bucks and finally picked it up, what a pleasant surprise! this is prob the most well put together title yet in the 4 film favorites line and a real bargain at around 10 bucks. All of the 1st 4 Clint Eastwood "Dirty Harry" movies (Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, and Sudden Impact), all are in widescreen, and this set is not barebones like so many of the 4 film favorite sets are, it is loaded!! with bonus features, commentaries on all films, many of the featurettes that were included with the previous 2disc special editions releases are included as well. If you get this along with a copy of "The Dead Pool", your Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry collection is complete for a very low price, and all 5 films will take up only 2 spaces on your dvd shelf.

I also noticed that many of the studios are releasing some great four-packs! Not only is WB releasing a lot of their catelog titles that contain great extras, but Fox is also following suit.

Target is carrying many of their classics films in four packs for only $10. Many of these films were intially released in the Fox Studio Classics line-up and contain great bonus features. I recently picked up the Film Noir set which contains "Laura"; the disk itself comes with two commentaries and two full length A&E biographies. For ten dollars, this is a steal!!

Even certain releases that contain one or even two films already obtained are worth rebuying only because the price is so good and it allows us crazy collectors a chance to condense shelf space.

P.S. One very worthwhile collection from WB contains all Austin Powers films along with the dozen of hours of bonus material and "Spies Like Us". This is a great deal for fans!

thanks for the heads up on that WB Austin Powers set, will have to look for that one. by the way, I heard somewhere that they are putting out one with all 4 ninja turtles movies.

It seems the Ninja Turtle set is slated for September 7th. Good news.

They're also coming along with a Final Destination, Critters, and Oliver Stone set that day (plus a Steve NcQueen set, if anyone cares). These things are reproducing like cockroaches.

I found the first 4 disc set (25th Anniversary package) at Big Lots for 6 bucks last weekend. So if you want it sooner you might get lucky there.

Also, a Jim Carrey collection with Dumb and Dumber, The Mask, Yes, Man, and the Majestic. September 7 is churning out some great collections!

Sadly for me, the good collections only come out after I've bought most of the titles in the pack for $3-$5 each (at Big Lots or Walmart). Next time I buy any of these titles will be to upgrade to BD when the price is under $5 each. (Then the good BD packs will come out 91 days after I buy those.)

I noticed a lot of these titles flood the Walmart $5 bin and Big Lots right before they go out of print; often they're only going out of print to clear the way for a newer release (especially big budget or family titles).
