Tempting... Full Moon has a big sale starting tonight. This box set will be $60 shipped, so obviously 1saleaday is cheaper. But I have the archive box set already, so I own the first 3 Puppetmasters. I could buy the 4 Puppetmasters I need for $7 each in the Full Moon sale, so I'll probably just do that. But this is a great deal for anyone that doesn't have any of them yet...

that set came out in like 1999. There's already a special edition of the first one in widescreen that looks way better. I think the other movies will probably follow, otherwise I would order it.

Be careful, Full Moon only found a couple in a warehouse two years ago, so you better hurry and buy it if you want it!

That's what Charles Band wants you to believe. I wouldn't doubt there's a ton of them. I believe the spines on the dvds are different than the original ones as well, correct me if I'm wrong if anybody knows.

Yes, you are correct. The spines are different. I have had my set since 2001.

It's only cheaper until one of Full Moon's 50% off sales, which seem to happen a few times a year. Last October also had 2 free movies with each order.

50% off would make it $50, plus they usually charge shipping. 1saleaday would still have been cheaper. True statement about the 2 free movies last year, but I placed 2 orders and got the SAME two freebies. Anyway, the deal is dead now, so 1saleaday is no longer an option...

They typically do a half off + free shipping sale twice a year at Full Moon Direct so you would save $2 if you waited until I think Halloween.

I got mine at the Valentines Sale this year for $50 + free shipping.

I'm seeing it at $19.99 + shipping ($4.99)

But still if its the box set i'm seeing on the new moon website (can't post urls yet) i'm thinking the quality in the youtube clips there reflect actual quality of these dvds.... Yeah maybe i can wait.

I decided against it because the new set pointed to by Gman2819 above includes 2 later movies not included in this release and is retailing for ~$36.
