I bought the set about a month ago at Barnes & Noble's website when it was on sale for around $21.00 - lowest I've ever seen it and got the 11 percent discount on top of that. (I posted about it on the B&N thread). I checked and it's now back up to $51.99 or so.

It was on my want list for years; Amazon and deepdiscount have it on sale usually two or three times a year in the $28 range.

As far as websites matching rival prices, I don't know about that, perhaps you should email the website's help desk and ask about their policies along those lines.
