Used DVDS?

This may be a ridiculous, redundant question but hopefully somebody can help me. I like to buy a lot of older DVDs, (old horror movies, 80s stuff, etc.) and am looking for a place online that has lower shipping costs, or bulk shipping costs, especially on used items. Of course Amazon.com charges $2.99 - $3.99 per used title from a third party seller, and gohastings' shipping prices have gone up to I think a little over $2 dollars per item.

Anybody know of any others or have any ideas?

Thanks a ton.

FamilyVideo.com has the best used prices on fairly-recent releases and $1.99 flat shipping (or very often free w/ coupon). I get tempted so often on their site.

I think you'll have better luck finding older and unique titles from gohastings despite the higher per cost shipping. It gets evened out during a 30% OFF, or B2G1 for $1 sales.

SecondSpin has higher used prices and not too many titles. Or you might want to look at FYE.com when there is a good $ OFF coupon like the recent 10 OFF 30 since free shipping gets tacked on because of the total.

Check if you have local swap meets or flea markets, there's usually at least one vendor selling movies. Over here, First National Pawn guys come out every Saturday and bring loads of DVDs selling them at $2 a piece. They range from sealed with slipcover new releases to sealed classics and everything in between.

There's also spun.com.

Some ebay sellers will combine shipping on larger orders at a pretty good rate.

I find Half Price Books a good source of used DVDs. Most stores where I am (Minneapolis/St. Paul) have good selections of $3 disks. And their occasional sales make the regular DVD sections appealing.

GoHastings.com is where I do all of my USED dvd shopping these days. Every month or so they'll have a sale, usually 30% off their already insane prices.
