That Rescue Me: Complete 5th Season pack for $34.99 is quite unsettling, seeing as how I paid close to that for Season 5 Vol. 1. That's a great deal when compared to buying them separately.

Thanks for posting the ad, though!

So if you buy the Alice in Wonderland Best Buy exclusive it's $5 off so it would be $21.99 and then you could use the $10 coupon and get it for $11.99 is that correct?

Only if you buy it at one of the midnight openings, go to bestbuy.com/alice to see if a store near you is opening at midnight

I'd be careful about the $10 off at midnight. Some stores might consider that double dipping and only honor one discount. I ran into that with the toy story promotions. But I wish you luck.

Anyone know what videogame deals they're offering this week?

I wonder if the copy of the watchmen for $4.99 is the theatrical version or the directors cut

I didn't see that. I checked NO ONE around me is doing it. Which makes me mad because I would have loved to have gotten a poster, but I guess I'm going to miss out on that. Does anyone know if the $10 coupon will work on the single BD? It says Combo on the coupon, but not sure if it will work or not.

Thats just something you'll have to try, apparently people had some luck getting the single disc of "The Princess and the Frog" to work with it's combo coupon so YMMV. I won't be chancing it.

The version pictured in the ad is the theatrical cut.

I actually paid that for a season 1 - 3 pack quite some time ago, then picked up season 4 new @ Amazon Marketplace for $15.00. I think I'll wait on this season 5 complete pack until the price inevitably comes down.

Glad somebody pointed that out. I've been meaning to grab a copy of the theatrical on the cheap so I can toss my digital copy from the Ultimate pack and replace it with this. 5 bucks is about as good as it's gonna get.

That's not a bad idea!

Best Buy also has some TV Show DVDs at decent prices on their website. Not the best prices for some of them, but a few dollars away from the lowest price I've seen on a few of them like Mad Men (S3), Dexter (S1 & 2), Breaking Bad (S1 & 2), and 30 Rock (S3). So if you were looking for these and can't wait for a similar drop, this seems like a pretty good deal.

Went to BB, they had a bunch of tv sets for $9.99 and $12.99 (saw magnum PI seasons for $9.99, along with the hulk.

Also, they had the exclusive steelbooks for Sukiyaki Western Django for $4.99 for anyone that collects steelbooks or Miike Movies-

I'm only interested in Life this week and it's troubling that BB only shows the worthless Oprah version and not the real BBC version:

I think CostCo should have a better price anyways.

Yeah, I'll let my Amazon order ride. I doubt they would carry just the Oprah version thought (they only carried the BBC version of PE on HD/BD back in the day).

I was wondering too, I'll have to grab that at lunch this week for my ultimate Blu set. I took the digital copy and put it with the motion comic in a two disc case.

Both versions are in the weekly comparison thread. Best Buy has both listed online, and in stores I'm sure.

And I don't know about Costco, they rarely have the best price on a new release.

I'm sure it has to do with royalties, but if the video is the same, why not have both versions on the same release. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I think each "narration" is actually owned by different studios.

Nope. The BBC version must be online only - I just checked 2 BBs and they only had the Oprah version. What a load of cock.
