Even with shipping this is an excellent price. I don't think I've seen it lower.

If you're a fan of Campbell or Raimi you should pick this one up. I'd have loved to see it run a couple more seasons as it's *lots* of fun! There's a good review here on dvdtalk. As the review says: "it's perfect for temporarily putting your brain on stand-by and just having some fun".

Thanks OP.

The set has almost unbelievably high ratings at Amazon (average score 4-and-a-half stars, 73 reviews): Link

Re: Bruce Campbell's "Jack Of All Trades" at FamilyVideo.com $12.99

I love this show. It's VERY silly - Verne Troyer plays Napoleon Bonaparte - so it won't be everyone's cup of tea. But I found it to be very enjoyable lighthearted fun. And the chemistry between Bruce Campbell and the female lead, Angela Dotchin, is phenomenal. Most big-budget prime time shows, and even feature films, wish their leads had the chemistry that these two have.

I bought this DVD set for around $35 on Amazon a few years ago, and I thought it was worth every penny. Again, don't expect highbrow entertainment in any way, but otherwise I'd highly recommend this series.

Thanks for posting this, OP! I remember watching this back when it was paired with Cleopatra 2525 as the Back2Back Action Hour in first run syndication. I bought the latter on DVD years ago, nice to finally get this as well.

I miss shows like this. Not that there aren't great things going on these days in television, but nothing seems to be this kind of lighthearted fun.

Fun show. Haven't caught this since it originally aired in syndication. Thanks!

BTW, it's also available at Hulu for anyone who wants to try before you buy.

Thanks for that. Never caught this when it aired, despite being a big Campbell fan, will check it out before adding two more seasons to my unwatched mountain.

I don't think you will be disappointed. The opening theme is worth $12.99 alone.

If you're even a moderate Campbell fan it's a no-brainer even as a blind buy.

If you're a big fan it's not worth debating and *well* worth adding to an unwatched mountain... just order it.

Ooh...but wait. I still have half of Brisco unwatched. I should wait until I clear some stuff from my watch pile.

(Good luck, Trevor. Oh, and it looks like the two seasons together have a grand total of 22 half-hour episodes, so it's not that big of a time commitment. Oh...I'm not really helping, am I....)

Thanks OP. Loved Brisco and with everyone saying this is sillier, it seems I shall love this even more.

I didn't care for BRISCO, but really liked JACK OF ALL TRADES. Definitely worth the $12.99.

All these posts, a link to amazon, and yet no actual link to the deal itself

Also picked up The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth on blu-ray.

Curses! You all convinced me. Seeing they had season 3 of the Muppet Show for $16 and season 1 of The Equalizer for $10 helped. All three titles shipped for just under $41.
