I'm pretty sure those are recent price drops at Amazon. I have the first set and was looking at the others and I don't recall the prices being quite that low.
I really want the other sets but I've spent way too much money on DVDs recently. So many good things....Sigh.

For comparison purposes, the new set has 6 movies & a less-deluxe edition of one of the best.

The original set had 8 movies. In addition to Stagecoach, The Long Voyage Home has been removed. Also, note that the new set has the two-disc version of The Searchers, whereas the old version had the "Ultimate Edition" with the comic book, production stills, etc.

It's still a bargain price...six classic movies for around $3.74 each in a nicely-designed box. Just wanted to point out the differences since the DD link doesn't list the titles/editions contained in the box. Had to go to Amazon for that.

Family video has better price on Ford Wayne set and others especially if combine shipping. I've had problems with their packaging sometimes though.

Thanks for the update. Didn't know the doc was included.

In the new set, do the individual titles come in slimcases or regular DVD cases? Might be important if I wanted to unload any or mix-and-match with previous release.
