Psycho 2 is worth it alone, I own 3 but have yet to watch, never seen 4.

Definitely worth a look for Anthony Perkins' performances if nothing else. None compare to the original but they're very watchable. I like the Perkins-directed "Psycho III" for its over-the-top, tongue in cheek tone but that one flopped in theaters and seems to divide horror fans. I only ever saw Part IV once and don't remember much about it. But for $6 it's definitely worth the investment. Watch them all and then you'll be set to watch the new "Psycho Legacy" documentary coming out in October.

Theres a couple new displays. The Zombie Strippers is with a 3.00 halloween assortment. It was mostly restocks with a few new titles. I didn't get the Zombie Strippers cause it was the rated version.

There's also a new 5.00 display with some different stuff. I got Candyman SE, Starship Troopers SE 2 Disc, and It Came From Beneath the Sea 2 disc. They also had a Hellboy SE 2 disc, and a King Kong (peter jackson) 2 disc

After much hemming and hawing, picked up the WB "Homefront Collection" (This is the Army, Hollywood Canteen, Thank Your Lucky Stars), mostly for my dad. If he doesn't want it, I'll keep it.

The "Hollywood Hotel" I bought was bundled with the much-maligned and apparently heavily edited "Varsity Show."

Hope those $5 special editions start showing up locally...and for $6 "Joan of Arcadia" might be worth a shot.

Re-arranged my DVDs the other night and thought about posting all my Big Lots finds over the past 18 months...or is that too obnoxious and self-indulgent....

I'm hitting up Big Lots in the morning, I'm really hoping they have some of the Lionsgate titles in stock.

My local Big Lots still has the same pallet of DVDs that they've had for the past few months. I was talking to an associate about future job openings at this particular store, and somehow we trailed off to the current DVD selection, he told me there were 4 new shipments in the back but he's not 100% sure whether it's all DVDs or combined shipments (books, art, cds, whatever).

Picked up the following to help clear the current stock:
- Bad News Bears (2005) - Special Collector's Edition [WS]
- Eight Crazy Nights - 2-Disc Special Edition (Adam Sandler)
- The Love Guru
- The Exorcist: The Version You've Never Seen
- Rumor has it…

My local BL finally got some of the two for $6 wraps but unfortunately they were all titles that were carried here previously as single movies.

Someone recently mentioned clearance DVDs at BL mixed in - I walked down the clearance aisle of the store and saw a good 100+ dvds that were marked down, mostly $5 two-movie Paramounts (Michael Douglas, Tom Cruise/VANILLA SKY-THE FIRM) down to $3 and SNL "best ofs" down from $3 to $2. Also they marked down the ton of SPIN CITY seasons they've had forever. I didn't buy any but be sure to check out the clearance aisle.
