It's one of those random price drops at Amazon. About as cheap as I've seen it go so far. Cultish, silly, short-lived TV show. The set got a "Highly Recommended" review here at DVDTalk.

This is a great series. FWIW, as with most Shout Factory releases, new copies of this set with slashed UPCs can be found at Half Price Books for $19.99 - and they'll be $15.99 during the Memorial Day sale starting the 26th.

Ordered it from Amazon - thanks OP! I've never seen this one at HPB, but have seen a lot of the Shout stuff. Also, HPB has a lot of Timeless Media Group season box sets. Got Frontier Circus there during the last coupon sale.

I just picked it up for $10 at Oops! Outlet in Pleasant Prairie, WI. My first visit there, and surely not my last...! They had a selection of TV seasons normally $15 each, on sale for $10 each, not sure how long the sale price is in effect. Also, these are cutouts, with a slash across the UPC. Oops has several other locations; if you're near one, it might be worth a look -- oopsoutlets-dot-com

Just finished watching the complete series and all the bonus features. Great show. Probably next month I'll get the comic book that is supposed to be the unfilmed, unproduced 13th episode.

It would have been nice if The Middleman made a feature film to close the series, like what Firefly did with Serenity.
