Re: New Release Price Comparisons - Week of 3/14/10 to 3/20/10
Thanks for all the info this week everyone. All the choices this week is making my head hurt.
As much as I hated the first Twilight (worst movie of that year), and think the sequel is probably worse, I imagine I'll be buying two copies tomorrow, Walmart and Target, and maybe Borders. Curse this addiction!

And thank you for all your info that you put up every week

Saturday? Wow, I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't realize that. Good, I work all weekend so I just might miss out on all the New Moon exclusives.
And I've luckily not gotten quite addicted to the steelbooks yet. I'll get them if it's a title I wanted anyway, and there are no other exclusives, but I don't automatically buy them. Yet.

I'll probably end up 'having' to buy multiple copies of last year's worst movie, Avatar, as well.

I know I'm an enabler too.
By the way the coupons list updated with $5 off The Princess and the Frog for DVD or Blu-ray only.

hey Trev, don't mean to be mean...but didn't you recently say that you noticed yourself winding down on purchases....but then this type of behavior isn't indicating your controlling or even attempting to curb your spending addiction. say no to the garbage trinkets and if you don't like the movie, don't buy it.

But I really am slowing down. The only reason I'm letting myself buy multiples of a title I don't really want is because I know I can easily gift this particular release. I'll buy two or three copies of New Moon, but then I'll keep the exclusive part and sell or give the movies away to friends and family.
In the old days, I'd buy multiple copies and keep almost all of them, but now I actually do skip a lot of exclusives and sell/give away another big chunk.

Thanks for the code. Sent it on to Border's CS and they applied to my order. Only good for $2.00 but money's money.

What kind of goofy math is that?
30% of $30 is 9 dollars, not 2.
EDIT: Think I figured it out. 30% off of lists price, not the sale price. So disregard. Still looks like BS to me though, lol.
