Amazon has Tsubasa Complete Series(Seasons 1 & 2, Movie)-Blu-ray up for preorder for $55.99 with a release date of May 4.

No. That release is DVD only anyways. The coupon is for the BD release. And besides I don't believe very many B&M stores will be stocking that DVD SE w/plush release.

Some extras are different and the artwork used is different as well. Other than that, not much is known.

Thanks WTK! If you hear or read more info, please do let me know if you have time. I am a big fan and have all the original releases, however I don't want to double dip unless there's a good enough reason Plus I fear a triple dip when they finally release on Blu-ray LOL

The odd thing is that the Totoro cover is not even from the movie...

I ordered Ponyo Blu from Amazon, and decided not to take part in this promotion. The older catalog titles are much higher at Amazon than other places (I think Yamadas was the only one missing) and I see no reason to upgrade Totoro or Kiki's until a Blu version comes out, if ever.

Very interesting & thorough review of the new KiKi's DVD. The new extras sound significant, there seems to be a new / modified transfer, and some small cutting and dubbing differences to the movie itself.
