Awesome price on Fringe and Terminator S2. I may have to pick up those seasons for that price.

Re: Best Buy Weekly Ad: January 24-30, 2010

Hmmm, I have $55 in RZ certificates and GC. Will get Saw VI for sure, but let me ask has anyone seen WWII in HD?? How is it? Is it worth $20?

Great prices for Fringe and Sarah Connor on DVD and Blu Ray. Ticks me off that I paid $44 for Sarah Connor and $45 for Fringe on Blu Ray when they initially came out.

And for anyone who is curious, Southland is 7 episodes, which is currently airing on TNT. All the bleeps were removed for the DVD hence it being Uncut.

I just bought Terminator Season 2 for $25, thinking that was a decent price! Ah well.

I was able to get the cashier to give me the Terminator S2 Steelbook for $16.99. Was the only one at the Ontario, Calif. store. YMMV since it rang up at 44.99.

It's not a SteelBook.

I would call that Terminator S2 exclusive, a steel slipcase.

Anyone happen to know if the WWE RAW 2009 season is going to be on sale? BB.com has it at $19.99, but I'm not sure if that's the weekly sale price. Thanks.

No images here at work, could anyone type out the main DVD/BD releases?

Nevermind, Best Buy site still works here, working on comparison thread now.

Re: Best Buy Weekly Ad: January 24-30, 2010

You can see the ad at www.bestbuy.com but here are the prices. Prices are for DVDs unless otherwise noted

This is it: Best Buy Exclusive Bonus Disc and 3D Card included. $19.99, $29.99 Blu Ray (includes unique backstage pass replica and 2 Blu Ray discs, including bonus content)
Surrogates: $16.99, $24.99 Blu Ray
Saw VI: $16.99, $24.99 Blu Ray
I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell: $17.99 (unrated version)
Whip It: $17.99, $25.99 Blu Ray
WWII in HD (History Channel) : $19.99 Blu Ray
Star Trek (3-disc digital copy edition): $18.99 Blu Ray
Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen (2-disc special edition): $18.99 Blu Ray
Transformers (2-disc special edition): $18.99 Blu Ray
G.I. Joe – The Rise of Cobra (2-disc digital copy): $18.99 Blu Ray
Braveheart: $18.99 Blu Ray
Gladiator : $18.99 Blu Ray
Eagle Eye : $18.99 Blu Ray

The Bourne Identity: $16.99 Blu Ray*
The Bourne Ultimatum: $16.99 Blu Ray *
The Bourne Supremacy: $16.99 Blu Ray*
The Incredible Hulk (with Ed Norton) : $16.99 Blu Ray*
Fast & Furious: $16.99 Blu Ray*
Land of the Lost (Will Ferrell) : $16.99 Blu Ray*

* Buy one of these six titles and get a coupon for online ordering of a free Papa John’s pizza, medium, one-topping. Good 1/19/10 through 4/30/10.

TV Series:
Southland Season 1: $22.99
Entourage Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5: $14.99
The Big Bang Theory Seasons 1 or 2: $16.99
Gossip Girl Seasons Seasons 1 or 2: $16.99
Supernatural Season 4: $16.99, $24.99 Blu Ray
Smallville Season 8: $16.99, $24.99 Blu Ray
Fringe Season 1: $16.99, $24.99 Blu Ray
Terminator – The Sarah Conner Chronicles Seasons 1 or 2: $16.99, $24.99 Blu Ray

I'm not liking the $8 price difference between DVD and Blu Ray on those TV series. For that price I'd pick up the DVD, not quite as good of a picture but not bad on a Playstation 3 (upconverting).

The "This Is It" Best Buy bonus disc is a Blu-ray bonus disc and not a standard, correct? the ad makes it out to be a Blu-ray disc.

Amazon just pricematched the Best Buy prices but also added Office S5, 30 Rock S3 and House S5 to the $16.99 sale.

Thank you!!! I got Office and House at the sale a few weeks ago, but just ordered 30 Rock S3 right now.

I used a $10 GC they sent me for an order being late for Christmas. Funny thing is, I placed the order on Dec. 24 so obviously knew I wouldn't get it for Christmas. Then out of the blue, they send me a $10 GC for my inconvenience...

Can anyone confirm if the bonus content is the same on the BB bonus disc and the WM bonus disc?

No, unfortunately it is NOT the same...

The Best Buy bonus BD contains only one ~20 minute featurette entitled "Dancing Machine - The Choreography", plus a PSP Digital Copy transferable via the PS3....

The Walmart bonus DVD contains four featurettes (that run a total of ~60 minutes) entitled "Meet The Dancers", "Meet The Band", "Meet The Vocalists" and "The Unfinished Rehearsals"....

Thanks! So the BB bonus disc can only be viewed via a BD player, correct?

I was watching some of this at Walmart today. It looked pretty good. Too bad it only comes with the DVD. I plan to pick up the Blu-ray.
