DD 45% off Select Criterion titles
 

With the recent sale on Criterions at B&N I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in this... but it could be handy for that 1 off title or odd priced pairings.

For many, it's probably just about as good a deal here as at B&N, since sales tax applies in so many states for B&N, but only Illinois for DD.

$21.97 for The Spy Who Came In from the Cold, huh? That's tempting. I think, though, that I'm either going to wait for a BD release or the price to hit closer to $15. That way, when a BD does come along, I don't kick myself too harshly for triple-dipping.

If you belong to Bing cashback you can get another 4% off of Deep Discount's prices, which, without sales tax, brings you pretty close to the Barnes and Noble sale prices.

The last Barnes and Noble 50% off Criterion sale occurred when they also had that additional 25% off in-store coupon, which I used several times. But I considered that a lucky break at the time.

So I would not hesitate to buy any titles from DD - except maybe on that big Kurosawa box set, where - if you can wait for Barnes and Noble - the extra savings would just about pay for their membership, which would in turn get you an additional 10%.

Decisions, decisions.
