Back in mid-December the MSRP for the March 9th release of The Familiar of Zero - Series One dropped from $40 to $15. It appears alot of places have changed it back to $40. So if you want this, you may want to grab it while the price is still low. I pre-ordred mine today from Deep Discount for $13.59.

It seems to be that the Zero no Tsukaima DVD box is a real DVD Box with big DVD cases and not a flimsy box with thinpaks.

Not all online retailers changed the retail price to $14.98. In this case, I guess they changed their mind on the pricing and the brand name label. It doesn't hurt to pre-order it even if they decide to cancel it.

It's not really the Viridian collection. It's more of a silent label for Geneon (FUNi distributed) releases. There has to be a Geneon release that has the Viridian Collection label printed on it. And plus the cover art shown so far doesn't display that logo either. The packaging for this re-release will likely be clear keepcase.
It's known for a little while now (at least to me anyways). Some of the original Geneon (FUNi distributed) boxsets only a limited run of copies. The Familiar of Zero and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha will be two of them. Another one on top of my head will be Karin.
