Re: Cyber Monday Deals/Discussion

Oh, I can't wait. I already spent a lot this month, but my new billing cycle starts Tuesday. I'm hoping for some good all day DVD/BD deals so if I order late nothing will ship (and hit my credit card) til Tuesday even with Prime.

Re: Cyber Monday Deals/Discussion

I dont feel like we are going to see any better deals on "cyber monday" then black friday this year plus Ppl spent way too much on Amazon. Also target, bby, and walmart had some good deals online.

Cyber Monday is not going to happen for me this year, I spent way too much already plus I'm stuck at work until who knows what tomorrow since a very busy day is planned....

I just hope the deals don't get any worse. I'll be pissed if all the BD prices double again before Monday. I picked up on all the lightning deals, but there are still a lot of titles I need and I refuse to pay more than $15/movie. I definitely want Hellboy 2, Untraceable, and a couple others while they're $13.

Best Buy's print ad for Nov 29 says they're going to have free shipping on orders over $25 on Sunday & Monday. It excludes big items like major appliances, grills, exercise equipment.

It's probably a pipe dream, but I'm hoping Amazon will repeat the BF lightning deal of the Beatles stereo box set for $99. I totally missed that one and would love to have another chance to jump on it.

I missed out on Wolverine before. Hopefully, Amazon matches this because I don't see anything else I want there to qualify for free shipping.

Re: Cyber Monday Deals/Discussion

Upon looking at Best Buy's sale more, they have a lot of good stuff. Quantum Leap seasons for $9.99 and Shield seasons for $12.99. I've got an order put together, but I'd save $5 if Amazon matches (due to tax).

Yeah, 19.99 for Sactuary and 27.99 for Star Trek TOS is pretty good too. I'll be waiting for Amazon as well though (though they never matched Painkiller Jane from Friday).

Family Video had Sanctuary for $24 if you preordered. I'm thinking it's going to get a lot lower than $19.99. Probably $10-15 around the release date of S2 or next BF.

Re: Cyber Monday Deals/Discussion

I'm done with the Best Buy Cyber Monday free shipping deal. Everything I pretty much want goes out of stock for shipping. I take it out and something else goes out of shipping. UGH. Pain in the ass. Especially what I want is not special.

hastings.com has a CYBERMONDAY code good for 30% off used - same deals as the BLACKFRIDAY code.

Yeah, I'm waiting for a similar price, S1 sets usually go for dirt cheap at some point.

[QUOTE=marald;9861103]Cyber Monday Lightning Deals have started on Amazon.com, but there aren't any dvd's/blu-ray's included.

They may not have any lightning deals but there are good ones to be found if you look through the DVD/BR listings themselves

Got the Dark City Director's Cut BR for $10 and the 5 disc Blade Runner BR for $22.

That really should be enough DVD shopping for me this season. I've still got 4 BR's coming from Amazon before Dec's even over that I pre-ordered.

But those two BR's and the Witchblade TV series DVD set for $15 from Buy are more then enough for now,

If you order from VCI direct and sign up for their E Mail "Gazette," you can get 50% off your first order. I'm not sure how many times you can sign up for it with a different E mail address and take advantage of the offer, but it's a good deal if you're a VCI fan.

How does that joint continue to stay in business? Most of their bullshit promotions only apply if you actually go to a B&M and sign up for their stupid membership, and even then they're not that great. There's a 40% off 1 item code that I thought might finally get me a decent deal on that Star Wars soundtrack box, but no. I can't see how it'd be worth it to buy 2 items even if that B1G1 60% off code is any good.
