Just a quick question about bing cashback. How long does it take for the cashback points to show up in your account after your order was placed. I recieved my confirmation email today saying my items were sent but it was not added yet to my bing cashback account. Could it be because of two items that are on backorder ?

I always get deepdiscount orders to show on Bing immediately after placing the order. You'll probably have too contact them for a manual adjustment.

For the first time, my bing credit did not show. My order has already been shipped. I guess it is because I used the coupon. One person reported that the credit was canceled because of the coupon. I am sure that there are some here that did get the credit this time from bing and used the $5.00 coupon. I am tempted to e mail them, but it is only for $1.50. I do not want to rock the boat, since I have over $6.00 cash back pending from DD sales from last year and this past summer. I do not want those to get canceled because of the sales codes used, as they are ready to be cashed out. I guess I could cash out and start over, but it will likely be ages before I get to $5.00 again. Any suggestions? thanks

I guess it must be the merchant that does not credit bing, if a coupon code was used. If bing receives the commission, why would they not pass it along?
If this is not the case, this seems like very bad business practices, to keep the full commission.

I used all 4 coupons but forgot to use Bing the 1st time. The 3 times I used Bing I did get the credit though.

Didn't think I would make an order, but glanced at the site and noticed A Christmas Carol (2-disc CE) on sale for $6.95, then threw in Waltons: Season 7 ($9.98) and Waltons: Season 8 ($10.99). With the $5 coupon it came to $22.92 shipped.

According to the bing site, you're supposed to give them 48 hours. I placed an order today that showed up immediately, but my 2 (or 3-depending on whether bing's qualification) from yesterday did not and DDD has already shipped 2 of them.

On the Bing side it states: What are some of the limitations for getting cashback?
In addition to limitations we set for getting cashback through the Microsoft Service Agreement, a store may have further restrictions for getting cashback rewards. For example, taking advantage of a special sales event often makes a purchase ineligible for cashback. Using a coupon voids the cashback for the majority of stores, including those you may receive in email or see on a deal/coupon site and offerings on a store's website.


I'm wondering if perhaps some of the codes you can still get the cashback and some you can't, given the mixed responses of various people on this thread. I've never used Bing yet so I don't know exactly how it runs but it appears not every dvd title at DD is eligible for a bing cashback, correct?

I tried poking around on some other deal sites, but there was no mention of the coupons, let alone any bing cashback discussion. (just complaints about the sale) I assume that it is DD that is not forwarding the commission to bing, as people who have used bing before know what they are doing. 30smovies could have a point about some codes not allowing cash back, but I guess we still do not know for sure. I was hoping to place another order with one of the newer coupons before it expires. I used the first coupon code given in this thread, and I did NOT get the bing cashback just for the record.

Thanks, It has been over 48 hours. It's only $1.50, but I may contact them and see what they can do. I have bing cashback from DD from 4 previous orders from months ago that I can now cashout for.
