Resident Evil Deluxe w/ Movie Ticket

Just noticed that Resident Evil Deluxe (09-07-2004) comes with a free movie ticket for the new film. Not my favorite film but it is $13.91 at DDD and $12.56 at Amazon w/ STL................so if you deduct a $7 movie ticket, this is a darned good deal.................................

I wonder if that means it will be $12.99 at BB, CC, Target, etc. on release day.

That's a great price! I would be all over that movie if it's ~$13 with a movie ticket.

Bleh, the cover for the deluxe edition of RE looks identical to The Matrix Revolutions cover.

Cool, i never picked up the Special Edition and the sequel for this has got my interest piqued. Might be worth it for the ticket.

I was going to wait for the inevitable box set but the free ticket may make it worth it

With these tickets, are you still able to see the movie on opening night? I know that some theaters have text next to the movie showtimes saying "No passes, no super savers, etc...."...But if this is a free ticket given by the studio, it should be allowed I would think.

The first listing says "MASTERED IN HIGH DEFINITION".

The new edition says "RE-MASTERED IN HIGH DEFINITION".
.
Does this mean a new transfer?

Much as I loathe the film, I'd like to hear the VFX commentary.

It's actually referred to on the previous release, despite its absence! Bastards. (Yes, they do actually reference hard information, amid Michelle's ignorance and Milla's drunken ramblings)

Haha, I bet you're right, but it's really funny that it turned out that way.

I'll probably pick this up somewhere else, but I noticed they removed it from Columbia House. All I get when I search for it are a couple of video games. It'll probably show back up on release day.

CH never puts up Columbia Tri-Star movies for preorder. You're right-it will show up on their site on release day.

Re: Resident Evil Deluxe w/ Movie Ticket

i received my deluxe edition from an ebay seller today. as it is not listed anymore in online shops, i thought it had been out of print for a long time,
but my copy actually came in one of the new eco-cases. it also
still had the shiny artwork.
since these cases are very new, i guess there must have re-issued the
deluxe edition?

Re: Resident Evil Deluxe w/ Movie Ticket

The Resident Evil Deluxe DVD can be found on the shelves at Wal-Mart. The $7.50 section I think.
