Do we still have to wait until December 1st to get the $10 e-mail since the dvd is coming out this Tuesday? I know there's a limited # of the ult. sets (50000?), so are they gonna be gone by 12/1?

I thought the limited disclaimer was a reference to how long the coupon is good for? It says on it: Limited Time Only (6/30/10) and at the bottom in the fine print confirms the coupon expires on that date.

The release date has been pushed back from November 03rd to November 10th.

My local Moviestop already got this in stock this past Thursday for release this week, so you might be able to find copies at some stores on Tuesday....

That's not actually the coupon. If you read the fine print it says you have to sign up with the WB Insiders and they'll email the coupon to you on Dec. 1. I thought it was the coupon as well until I actually looked at it.

I thought it was the coupon too. I didn't even bother looking at it. I just thought, "this will come in handy!" Anyway, I thought the coupon was supposed to be exclusive to people who bought the 2 disc but when I just signed up, you didn't have to put in any kind of code.

I've got it on pre-order at Amazon. Seems weird that the coupons will be emailed so long after the release date.

BESTBUY.com has the BD WATCHMEN ULTIMATE COLLECTION listed as $49.99 but AMAZON has the BD for $30.99--quite a difference in price! I wonder if AMAZON would take the coupon--I guess there is no way to do it. Here is what is included:

It's seems to me like we're going to get screwed out of this deal. I noticed some things about the offer. Namely it's refers to "The Watchmen Ultimate Collector's Edition", a 5-disc set, coming In December 2009. We now know the new release to be "Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut", a 4-disc set that will not be coming in December 2009. Several things have changed since the creation of this insert. Are you guys still expecting them to send coupons in December?

Actually, the DVD is 5 discs, it's the Blu-ray that is 4 discs.
