Shit- and I thought I'd gotten a good deal on "A Guy Thing" when I got it for $14.88 at Wal-Mart- plus I've never even watched it yet! It's got a free movie ticket for Legally Blonde 2, which I wouldn't use because I have to save everything that comes with my DVDs. Watched that movie on DVD later and didn't like it anyways.

I'd probably grab Rollerball for that price too, if only to watch the night vision scene whenever I want. ;)

De-Lovely

Daddy's Dyin' Who's Got the Will?
Thunderbirds 6
Nobody's Perfect

Do you go to the one in Bolingbrook or Crest Hill?

Bolingbrook.

They had quite a bit of the A Guy Thing left, but not much left of the other ones.

They're lumped together with all the other Digiview DVDs, CDs and disc cases near the frozen foods.

I bought: Shalako, The Saddest Music In The World

I also remember them having: Barbershop 2 (many copies!), some late 70's/80's martial arts flick co-starring a not-too-proud Rod Steiger...

For anyone in the area who's interested:
As of today (12/7) Clifton NJ has multiple copies of "Some Girls" (Dempsey) and "Jinxed" (Midler).

...Now can anyone tell me if they've spotted "Warm Summer Rain" anyplace in NJ?

My local dollar tree had a ton of copies of "A Guy Thing" and "The Saddest Music in the World" but that was it.

I didn't see any MGM DVDs at my store today. In the past 2 months, they only had one, a copy of The Ballad of Jack & Rose.

But I did see a couple of Universal DVDs:

Connie and Carla
Playing For Keeps

Both are the widescreen versions, but they had a mark through the UPC barcode.

Re: MGM dvds $1 dollar tree

I saw a fullscreen copy of Connie and Carla and a copy of Playing for Keeps as well, neither had a slash in the barcode... I wonder what other Universal titles have been there, the few dollar trees that haven't closed in the last couple of months are always gutted when I get there.

In a separate rack hanging at the end of an aisle I saw a bunch of DVDs. These were mostly country music DVDs and some guy named Ryan Carera or something.

And a few cooking DVDs by Bobby Flave.
