RE: Gankutsuou Collector's artbox vs. Gankutsuou complete collection (Geneon's artbox plus individual 6 volumes wrapped together).

Note, I am also an Artbox collector. BUT ....

My understanding is that there is no difference between the individual released Gankutsuou Vol 1 artbox versus Gankutsuou's complete collection artbox with the exception of the cardboard filling. There are no bonus items.

I bought the original volume 1 artbox several years ago. It didn't come with anything special.

You should have bought the entire collection at $27, kept the collector's artbox, kept volume 1, and sold off volume 2 3 4 5 6. That way essentially you didn't have to pay for the artbox at all. Or you could have made a few bucks (mathematically) rather than simply buying the Gankutsuou artbox w/ Volume 1 alone.

Essentially, the only thing extra your getting by going your route is the added disposable cardboard filler.

That store does qualify for the Bing Cashback program.
I think you can order online, get your sale price + Bing Cashback, and choose in store pickup to avoid shipping charges.

Check the top or bottom of the page and click on one of the Best Buy links for Bing Cashback.
The page seems to change often, but through several attempts, there was still a Best Buy link every time.

It does have a different SKU than the $17.49 title, but bestbuy matched it in-store without a problem (I purchased it at $17.49 earlier in the week). The $13.99 title is available for store pickup if you haven't purchased it already.

I was planning to wait for the re-release, but March is still a long-ways away.

Tsubasa S1 Blu-Ray $31.99 @ Amazon (not bad for 26 episodes). That's cheaper than the DVD set. Release date Nov 17th. I grabbed it, hopefully the second series comes out soon.

just iin case ANYONE is on the fence about this..GET IT! It is the best damn lookin blu-ray I own (course I got the now OOP version but i don't think they differ in quality at all, just packaging)
