Re: Best Buy ad 10/4-10/9

I'm going to try and price match Snow White at BestBuy. TRU and a local grocery store both have it for $19.99 and tell you where to print out a $10 off coupon... Damn best buy is slacking.

Yeah, I would still count that towards my total cost of Snow White though. I wouldn't pay $7.50 for an empty SB.

Re: Best Buy ad 10/4-10/9

Thanks OP
Just a heads up... BestBuy.com is showing Trick'r'Treat at 24.99 ... they did the same thing this week with some releases (Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, etc) where the .com price was cheaper than the ad price, but you can order for in store pick up...or just tell the cashier that the bb.com price was lower and they have to match their website price.
Also... fromt he looks of it (Amazon.com, WalMart.com, etc) Willy Wonka is now not being released until the 20th??? DOes that make sense has there been some shuffling of the release date for this? Haven't been following it to closely.

Lastly, I preordered my Snow White BD w/ steel case on BB.com so my car has already been charged for it, I am guessing I am SOL with the $10 coupon... can I cancel or return the BD itself if I already have the steel case?

I'm sure some people returned the preorder, and got their money back and kept the Steelbook.

Re: Best Buy ad 10/4-10/9

Am I really going to be the umpteenth person to ask where to find the $10 off Snow White coupon and NOT get a reply?

Also, $18 for Observe & Report is bullshit. I just paid $25.99 last week. Fuckers.

You input the UPC from the Platinum DVD at the Disney Movie Rewards site and you get it (I dont have it but thats how you do it)

Its been mentioned a ton of times on this site, go here:

http://disney.go.com/disneymovierewa...l_swupgrade_tv

You need to be a member, so login or register and then enter the following UPC:

786936150605

Enter it just like you would enter a normal disney code on the right hand side of the main disney rewards page while logged in.

You should see a banner to click and it will take you to a page to print.

Alternatively if you want to order on Amazon there is a code: snowhite

I agree with Krayzie. To me saying Snow White BR only costs $17.50 (or $7.50 after the $10 Disney coupon) would be like putting a 20K down payment on a 120K house and then telling everyone you only paid 100K for it because that's how much the loan was you had to pay off.

At least now I understand that I'm not missing any other discounts. I suppose maybe some people were able to return the preorder without the steelbook, but considering it's a bundled item on the receipt with asterisks I find it unlikely. I've been told that BBY's computer system requires all bundled items to be returned, so without the steelbook the CSR would have to return both items anyway (messing up BBY's computerized inventory of steelbooks)... so it's a true YMMV. I didn't do it and don't plan to try.

Re: Best Buy ad 10/4-10/9

I printed out the coupon from www.snowhiteoffer.com

I accidentally printed up the one for Canada and somehow I printed it up twice, now it's not allowing me to print any more.

Re: Best Buy ad 10/4-10/9

Thanks for the ad!

Going to price match Observe & Report (-$8), pick up the Snow White Preorder ($17.49 - $10) and Sleeping Beauty (I was tempted to buy a used copy for $15 earlier this week but was hoping for a sale like this), and hopefully get the $15 gift card.

I have a feeling it won't all work out like that though.

Do all of the Snow White coupons show the cover of the DVD+BD set (and not the BD+DVD set)?

I really prefer the look of the BD+DVD set.

Whaddya gripin' about? If you bought it at Best Buy, just take it back in and get the difference back. It isn't that hard.

Now whether you can pricematch TRU for $20 before coupon and still get the free steelbook is a YMMV. I'll predict that most people can, but I probably would get the "offers cannot be combined" excuse, so I guess I'll let my Amazon preorder (+Tinkerbells) ride and return the steelbook.
As I said, another 7.50 out the door. I (as did many others) have already paid 7.49 for pre-order and with the $10 coupon it will cost another 7.50 out the door.

Unfortunately I've NEVER been able to PM and use a coupon at my BB. They always say one or the other

Re: Best Buy ad 10/4-10/9

If you read the "fine print" on the back of the Steelbook, it essentially says that if you do not pick up your reserved copy of "Snow White," you can get a refund on your deposit, and nowhere does it state that you cannot keep the Steelbook, it only mentions your receipt. After all, what are they going to do with empty Steelbooks that get returned anyway? Let them collect dust somewhere? So you could always just purchase a copy at TRU or wherever else has a better deal and get a refund from BB and not be out anything or have to go through a hassle to get the best price.

Pretty good price for a Nip/Tuck new release, better pick it up before it jumps up to $45.

I guess if trick r treat is really 24.99 then I will go for it. I'll go to wallyworld first just incase it is cheaper for some reason.
