I was at my local Best Buy this morning and over where the new releases are where they keep the "Insider" magazine/pamphlet there was a stack of $4.00 off coupons for "Monsters vs. Aliens" for either the 2 pack or Blu-ray version. Not valid for standard single disc version though.

Yes that's what I'm talking about. Back in Feb, DreamWorks did a coupon for BD and 2-Disc. Just hoping they'd do the same for MvA.

my local best buy had stacks of them in random dvd slots (new release wall, endcap, etc)... it says good at best buy in store only... and not good with any other discount or free offer... so I'm wondering if they're not going to allow you to use it and get the free plush BOB figure?

I hope there's no problem because on that same flyer above the $4 coupon, it advertises that you get a free B.O.B. plush if you buy the Ginormous DVD double pack or the Blu-ray. Would be rather silly to advertise both, but then let you only choose one, no?

The $4.00 worked fine for me in Little Rock.
$17 and change out the door with the two pack and the B.O.B. plush.

I picked up the blu-ray and plush using the coupon for $23.38 after tax, then found the Wal-mart up the street was selling it for $19.96. Trying to decide if the plush B.O.B. is worth the extra $2.16 difference...

Thanks for the heads up! I got the two-pack for 17 bucks ... didn't get the plush, though. They were gone within 20 minutes of the store's opening today.

Best Buy was being a dick about getting the online price, $3 cheaper than store, + 4 dollar in-store coupon (that they had no idea that they even had a coupon) + plus plush BOB (didn't know about the freebie with the BD). Managed to get it all for 18.99 on Blu-Ray at the end though.

The coupon I used was a 2 sided Mvs.A "activity sheet" (puzzle, connect-the-dots, etc.) with the coupon along the bottom of 1 side. It was located above the new release rack in the store. There were none on the Mvs.A display though. Evidently they have the coupon on the Insider flyer as well.

I didn't see the coupon on the Best Buy Insider pamphlets but there were the Activity Sheets. Worked fine along with the free BOB plush on the Blu-ray.

Went through a couple of different cashiers. Both said that the coupon was invalid for the two pack, and was only valid for the Blue Ray. When I pointed that the coupon said it was applicable for the two pack they said that it was invalid with any other "offer" and that the price they sold it at constituted an "offer". Since the coupon is only good for this week I asked them what the point was for offering a coupon for one week when it would not be honored. They did not budge.

Wow, that sucks. I was able to get the 2 pack and B.O.B. plush for around $17 with the coupon. When I was checking out the coupon did not go through right or something and she said she didn't think I could use it with the Free Plush also, but after I pointed out a few times that it was their own coupon from that store advertising the dvd/blu and free plush on the same sheet she did something and I was able to get the $4 off.

I here in Chicago, was able to get blu ray, and the B.O.B. Plush, and price match BB.com down to $22.99 and take off the $4.00 for an $18.99 out the door price.

The manager or CA needs to manually adjust the $4.00 after the coupon is scanned - apparently the price match overrides the coupon - the coupon needs to be forced at the end of the transaction.

Hopefully others have good luck with this!

Coupon worked for me on the DVD 2-pack and plush doll. $15.99 + tax out the door, plus the DVD came with $26.50 in coupons for Chuck E. Cheese's.

I ended up picking this up at Target, which has an exclusive on a number of Dreamworks titles that include the DVD of the MOVIE too (MvA, Madagascar, Madagascar 2). It was worth the extra $6 to have the DVD to be played in the van.

I haven't bought it yet. I saw it at Target yesterday, but haven't been elsewhere to look at the packaging. No one else has the DVD in the Blu?

I don't think so ... at least not the DVD of the "movie". I think the Blu-ray of MvA may have a DVD of "Bob's Adventure" or something like that (which the Target edition also has).
