The last time I went on their store locator thing was shortly after hearing about the proposed two new locations (Raynham and Attleboro), with only Raynham showing up. Then after awhile I kinda forgot about it because I hadn't heard any more. Thanks for the info guys.

I picked up 4 of the Paramounts for $2.50, but these were basically leftover stock from the past 2 weeks. It's liquidation time!

can anyone verify that the I love the 80's version of Trading Places is the original release or the special collect. ed.?
I assumed it was the original version b/c the cover art had the same pic, but the IL80 ed. was released (according to Amazon) in 2009 and the Special CE was released in 2007.

Hit 4 South King County & 1 Pierce county (Washington State) stores today for the sale. All were in various stages of "picked out". Kent & Federal Way by far had the best selections left. Renton (first time I've been there) was a complete waste of time, & Bridgeport still hasn't gotten the $3 Paramount batch at all. Burien was also pretty picked out except for the $10 Paramount sets.
If anyone still needs Black Snake Moan, they sent out a ton of those, there's still quite a few left & it's a great film. a few others that seem to be sitting around: both Bad News Bears titles, pretty much all the $10 Paramounts (surprisingly most of the $5 sold!), & all but Renton & Bridgeport had a TON of both Spin Cities. I almost wonder if the Spin Cities were sent by themselves as a seperate batch there are so many.
At least around here, the Warners are mostly gone. Bridgeport still had a few of them, & a couple stores still had the (really nice) Karloff/Lewton 2 film sets that no one seems to want.

Re: Big Lots Part 7 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)
Passed over the following last week in order to hit the $20 Buzz Club threshold this week:
Tucker: The Man and His Dream
The Stooge
Rory O'Shea Was Here
Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles
Reds (I Love the '80s)
Heartbeeps
Coyote Ragtime Show: Complete Box Set
Beavis & Butt-Head Do America CE
Surprisingly copies of all were still available.
I was really hoping to find King Kong ('76), Pat Garrett 2-fer, The Two Jakes, Stalag 17 and I Married a Monster from Outer Space. Hopefully next week's stock will pay off.

Re: Big Lots Part 7 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)
I have a question regarding the 2 versions of Reds (I Love the '80s and regular 15th Anniversary):
Does the I Love the '80s version feel heavier than the regular one to anyone else besides me?
I came across both version and one feels heavier than the other and I was wondering if there was something extra in the I Love the '80s version that was not in the regular version.

Thanks! And that is very interesting. I wonder if the other titles of the I Love the '80s packaging have similar CDs.

According to the video from this hilariously depressing individual, all the DVDs come with the same CD.

Favorite quote: "I'm guessing they're gonna be limited edition and they're gonna sell out fast and then be very hard to find, and I bet the price of them will even go up."

Re: Big Lots Part 7 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)
The only title I have in this 80s packaging is Reds. I accidentally bought two copies @ $3 each from an online vendor. Figured returning a $3 DVD wasn't worth it, so I just put it up for sale online, only hoping to get my $3 back, not looking for profit. Had the DVD listed for months, no takers. Yet this guy thinks he's sitting on a goldmine.
Come to think of it, I just got another funny thought. The thought is of this guy actually buying and trying to sit through Reds.

"I remember seeing the commercial and I got wicked excited about it..."
The sad part is he actually *likes* the cheesy, generic, same banner on every title layered over the "regular" cover, artwork and purchased multiples of several titles just to get this! I've actually passed on some of these because of the cover art.

Agreed the cover art/design/banner is horrific. He seems especially impressed with the Pretty in Pink DVD.
