Our local store (SW PA) had a bunch of $3 titles today. I bought An Officer and a Gentlemen. I also saw The Ladies Man (Tim Meadows & the Jerry Lee Lewis one). They had like a million copies of The Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

Has Arthur and the 10/Tarzan double been spotted at many BLs?

A visit Sunday to one of the three nearby BLs in the beautiful Lehigh Valley proved frustrating. The printed ad ,which is dated Sat.,with the $10 sets, had only two copies of the same title left. I suspected there was never anything put out on time,and,sure enough,a worker said corporate demands that stuff is not held for the ad. When it comes in,it goes out. So,while they already have nothing for the current ad,a new dump with $3 Paramounts,including lost of original Bad New Bears and the sequels,was there,similar to the list in Emma'311's post. Probably will be wiped out for the Easter ad.

If what you report is accurate, then that Miami Lakes store must have found an unopened box buried somewhere in the back. Those sets, while widely seen last summer, haven't been spotted again in a long time. And if I remember correctly, TFTC Season 1 was the rare season to see from that bunch.

I wouldn't hold your breath... They've done this "deal" in the past to clear space for more merchandise (hence "merchandise" not specifically more dvds), but it only works with DVDs that were previously $3 - the $6 DVDs for example never turned out to be 4/$10 ... not at my store anyway. The $5 batch could be different, but like I said I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Days of Thunder is a $5 title, and it's pictured right on the front of the new ad. All the others that I could make out were the $3 titles. Maybe there will be a mix of $3 and $5 for the sale, but it could've been an ad mistake to include that. Also I guess Days Of Thunder could be showing up in the new $3 batches too, which would probably mean only the $3 titles are part of the sale.

They FINALLY opened one up in Attleboro ??? That had been reported months ago along with the new Raynham, Mass. store, but that's the last I ever heard of it. Whereabouts is this new location ???
