Picked up "Sliders" S4 and S1 of "Simon & Simon". I was hoping to find S3 of "Sliders", nope; they just had a single copy of season four.

"Shaft" box set is full screen, that sucks. What we need is another set - all the "Shaft" TV movies. I would so buy that.

The store didn't have that many TV sets, this and that.

Went back tonight and scored the last (only?) copy of "Footballers Wife$" S2. How I missed it a couple of days ago when I got S1 I'll never know. I only saw 1 copy of each season which I picked up. I'm happy as it was the only reason I went in tonight.

The Sterling store seemed to have all the recent TV sets yesterday. They were still boxed (but open for view/purchase), front of store behind the registers.

Update for SoCal: the North Hollywood store (Vineland Ave) got a new shipment of the Warner and Columbia titles that people have been reporting. It's about half empty. They also have a few of the Universal TV titles.

The store on Sherman Way also got these in, but again, fairly picked over.

Considering that the "Cat People/The Curse of the Cat People" DVD runs ~$18 normally and the "old version" (without the documentary) set goes on sale occasionally for close to that price (I picked mine up for $22 last year at amazon) I'd wait for the set, especially as all the other titles in it are currently OOP.
