I downsized my order substantially from what I originally intended, as my business is way down this summer. Got Lovejoy 4, Spirited Away, Castle of Cagliostro, and Operation Condor 2. Ordered them Tuesday night, got them Friday afternoon in perfect shape. Amazingly quick and no expedited shipping. (Maybe it's because Minneapolis is fairly close to Itasca IL.) Great service from DD. I've never had a problem with DD's shipping or damaged discs. Just an occasional back order.

My one order is for the Star Trek motion picture collection on Blu. With Bing, I got it for just under $50, not bad! It's on backorder, but that's just fine, I can wait...

The bulk of my order, which, according to the packing slip and email confirmation had 26 DVDs in it, arrived on Thursday missing six DVDs. Since I was out on business all day yesterday, I called this morning and they said the remaining six DVDs will reship Monday.

The box they came in was just about full, so I figure they guessed wrong on the size box they needed and somehow forgot about the last few. I've had late orders, I had a lost order once, but I've never had an order that arrived with less than what it should have.

DD did take care of it quickly and courteously though when I called them this morning.

Same here. I placed two orders. The first was on 7/17, and I got that within days. Then I placed another order on 7/21. I'm still waiting for that one. Details page says it's shipped, so I'm thinking the delay is more the Postal Service than DDD.

That's a nice price for LEXX S1 (the original 4 TV movies). The entire LEXX series frequently pops up over at inetvideo. The series was originally a German/Canadian co-production, so it's much easier to find in the GWN than in the USA.

The S1 movies were individually packaged, not box-sets like above. The S2-S4 episodes were released as five 2-DVD packages per season. So my shelf has DVDs 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 (the 4 S1 movies), and x.1 thru x.5 for each S2-S4, a total of 19 keep cases. If they're re-doing S2-S4 as single-season box sets, I might just double-dip and push my stuff to eBay.

Well I was just about to put through my only order when I noticed my number one want has disappeared from the dd website. So now I just threw out my whole list. I can't stand changes in prices and things disappearing from their site. I'd rather spend more money and get better service somewhere else than to have to deal with their games.
