If you find a lower price within 30 days, Best Buy will retroactively price-match with the ad and a receipt. Looks like I'm getting some money back on True Blood next week.

Yikes, this ad is tempting all over the place. Many thanks OP, now I can begin plotting how I'm going to obliterate my paycheck.

I'd really like Burn Notice Season 2 but I'm not gonna pay $33 for it. I hate buying a show and having it be like half the price a month or so later so I can wait. I will get the Ghostbusters game for 360 and the movie on Blu-ray if Target has it.

FWIW, I was at Target last night and all those Blu-rays are already on sale. No need to wait until Sunday.

I might also skip Gran Torino in blu for this $10 SD DVD!

Those $14.99 titles look tempting, specially King Kong (haven't seen) and Serenity (own the special edition DVD).

Okay, I am officially blind... can someone tell me where it has Gran Torino for $10? All I'm seeing is Dark Knight, Defiance, Hancock, Seven Pounds, He's Just Not That Into You, and Yes Man. Haha, it's probably blatantly obvious...

Count me in for Gran Torino at 10... won't get it much cheaper than that.

I'm glad I saw it, decent film, but I think I can wait for the inevitable $5.

it's not waiting for the inevitable $5.00, it is a matter of waiting for the inevitable SE.

this movie will have a SE (most of Clint's directed efforts do and this will be no exception). i can't see paying $10.00 just for the movie as the 2 itty bitty extras are just throwaways.

Re: Target Ad - 6/14 - 6/20

anyone know or think Target will have the new DE "Friday the 13th"'s (IV, V, VI). i'm especially interested in IV and wonder what the price will be. i know i still see the first 3 there, but don't recall price and don't remember if they had those on release day or they came weeks later...

Re: Target Ad - 6/14 - 6/20

Just got back from my target, I was kinda surprised they had quite a few more $4 & $10 dvds than what was pictured in the ad.. I definitely would have picked a few more out but I was already spending enough money.

I picked up Gran Torino for $ 10.00. The following titles were $ 3.98 that I also picked up: Breakfast at Tiffanys (2-disc Centennial Edition), American Gangster (2-disc unrated Extended Edition) and Casino SE.

I don't know. Most of Eastwood's DVDs are kinda sparse on the extras. He's not a filmmaker that's too interested in revealing his craft.

Finally picked up Dark Knight on Blu-Ray. Wasn't really looking for that packaging, but at $10 less then the regular price, I couldn't resist.

Plus, I don't think it was quite good enough to really need the special features. I imagine I'll buy it for $5 and watch it once or thrice more in my life, but I won't need a bunch of special features to explore how the movie was made.

Most films, I either choose or wait for the SE, but I've finally gotten to the point where I don't need the best version available on all films. No slam on anyone who feels otherwise, but I consider it a significant personal victory.

Re: Target Ad - 6/14 - 6/20

Just got back from Target, picked up Gran Torino and X-men 1 and 2 for $3.98 each with $5 movie cash. Couldn't resist $4 for $5 movie cash and a dvd. they had two 4-ft sections of 3.98 movies, most if not all were previously $7.50 last week. I also saw Akeelah and the Bee (FS), talladega nights, We Own The Night, 10 things I hate about you, Devil Wears Prada, Ghostbusters, Casino, American Gangster and several others I can't remember. They did have a lot.

I thought the Target Return Policy was 90 days?

FYI - Here is somthing from Target's blog -

Effective May 15, 2009, Target's return policy improves slightly. Customers still have 90 days from the date of purchase for returns or exchanges with a receipt. That's not changing. What Target is "relaxing" is the policy for returns without a receipt.
Previously, customers could make two returns per year for store credit as long as each item was under $35. Items costing more than $35 were not returnable without a receipt. (Target customers can also request a receipt "look-up" in customer service. If the item was paid for with a credit or debit card, check or gift card and the buyer can provide the checking account number, credit, debit or gift card, it qualifies as a return with a receipt.)

The new return policy without a receipt changes the maximum value from $35 per item to $70. Customers are no longer limited to two transactions without a receipt per 12-month period. The customer can return any number of items without a receipt, up to $70 in total value. For example, a shopper could reach the limit by returning one item without a receipt for $70. Another could return 10 items for $7 each to max out.

Once Target customers reach the $70 limit, they may still exchange new and unused clothing with tags attached for different sizes, colors or like items. Food items may also be returned at the historical low price.

The change in policy is in response to customer surveys, said David Fransen, a Target spokesman.

You better hurry and use that movie cash. I don't think Wolverine will be in theaters much longer. My local only has one showtime this week.
