I am looking all over in my Los Angeles Fry's ad and I do not see star trek listed, I would LOVE to pricematch this to the $69.99 I already paid at best buy. Please point me in the right direction.

I don't think this is in the ad, at least not in the one I got via the LA Times. I actually only heard about it because of fidodido's excellent listings here. It's a bit surprising, considering the Friday ad is always a huge ad, and there are four pages.

It is on sale, though, just picked it up in Burbank.

Ran by Fry's at lunch and someone had just snagged the last one (Star Trek 6 movie set) from the shelf as I was walking down. Ended up picking up Risky Business, FMJ, and the action three pack. Less than $50 for five BD movies, thanks Fry's!

If you are in Southern California, you can also get a hot dog and coke for only 50 cents. Its good Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm.

I lived in San Antonio for 2 years and I could not believe there was not a Fry's in the area... it seems like the North SA Area (with all the new developments in the Rim area) could really do well with one.

Especially considering we have one here in Austin, there are 2 in Houston, and 2 up in the Dallas area. El Paso could also use one... maybe after the economy improves a bit...

Thanks, I did just that, when I went in to pricematch two of the managers were actually talking about this deal, and one said to the other we might as well give it away. So i went to Fry's in Burbank and walked in and saw a small table with the Blu Boxsets i saw one Marvel pack left and quickly snagged it ...

There is also a Romance Blu Pack with Juno, 28 dresses, & The Devil Wears Prada for 21.99.

i walked to the blu section and BAM they pretty much had extras of everything all around plenty of Marvel Packs plenty of action and hard action plenty of the romance one plenty 9.99 plenty of everything which was a first to me because frys is somewhat known for having 2 of something lol when u want to go buy.

as i walked to the registers some employees had shopping karts full of boxsets which surprised the hell outta me.

im thinking of picking up the star trek trilogy might bite on it

I did exactly that with my iPhone at the Best Buy in El Segundo when I rushed to Fry's, discovered they were sold out of STAR TREK and had to deal with a snotty CSR who told me they don't honor Blu-Ray rainchecks after someone there told me exactly the opposite a week ago. It's hard to think of employees more useless than those who work at Fry's.
