Just went to open my season four and it doesn't look like limited edition packaging. It says limited edition packaging on the back but is not the book type of packaging that I have for the first three seasons. You can see the dvds from the bottom (or lack thereof). I will try and return it if there is a bookstyle edition like the first three. If anyone can confirm that I don't have the LE I would appreciate it.

My package looks exactly like the other 3 seasons, but I havent opened it yet...

Yes there is a book-style packaging for season 4. I received exactly what you described, with the back insert stating what I was holding was the limited edition packaging. It was not. I managed to locate only one LE s4 in the Austin, Texas, area and I exchanged it for the true LE.

The Limited Versions are very clearly visually different and look like books.
The Regular Versions are simply rectangular boxes that fit into the books.
You don't have to open it to determine whether it's a Limited.

Thanks for the replys! I don't have the limited edition, but have passed the 14 day return period. I wonder if I go to a B&M if they would exchange it. Otherwise I will give it away as a present and keep and eye out for the limited edition. It doesn't seem to be available from the usual suspects.

They released season 4 simultaneously in limited and regular packaging so it wont say what packaging online you will get. I got the non limited as well.

That's why I would never order these online. I'm waiting for $20-25 sales prices and hoping I can still find the Limited packaging. I know, good luck to me.
