Picked up Pee Wees for 13 something shipped....Tired of waiting for the mystical complete set with commentary that was promised so long ago...

Trying to decide if I want to get the zone...I do, but do I now...

Raise your hand if you think they will put the zone out on bluray sooner rather than later? Im getting tired of selling dvds and upgrading...

Normally, I'd do the research myself, but with a limited time to act on this sale, could someone please explain to me again the difference in the Twilight Zone Collection Sets and the Definitive Edition ones--better quality? Extras?

cardsfan, I believe the differece is that the Collections sets are just sets of episodes from various seasons grouped in a "Collection".

The definitive collections are the individual seasons which include the episodes only for that season.

I am not sure about differences in extras, etc. I own the definitive collection but I am not sure about what the collections include.

Ended up picking up the first 3 Definitive Editions (they received the best reviews here), seasons 2-5 of the Dick Van Dyke Show (already own the first), Short Circuit and Father Murphy: Season 1 (blind buy--but the $6 spent on this allowed me to save another $5 with the DVD Planet coupon code).

Couldn't resist participating in this sale since I had a few bucks in credit, $5 in frequent buyer dollars, the monthly coupon and the cashbaq link.

You can still add them by searching for the titles (the prices are high one the list page, but reduced when you go to the product details). Yakuza is sold out though.

The Complete Dick Van Dyke is no longer available but you can still get the individual season sets for $15 each. All 5 would come to $75 which is a little higher than $72.50 the complete set was selling for.

People on amazon are saying the cheaper one has been coming without limited edition metal packaging. But Im not sure if this is old stock or new. DD has it for a bit more in their sale.

Damn, I just bought Pee Wee for 9.00 each from DDD. I thought "they cant get cheaper than 9.00 can they?" And of course they've shipped already.
