I bought Medium S1-2 for $9.99 each. Still want to get the other Mediums and they also have Taxi seasons for $9.99.

There are also IRs for Family Guy on DVD, Volumes 1-6 ($9.99 after IR) and Volume 8 ($29.99 after IR).

Is the Roadhouse blu/DVD combo that is at BJ's the version with the Kevin Smith commentary?

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, but why would Kevin Smith the actor/director have a commentary on a Patrick Swayze movie?

Because he and his longtime friend/producer Scott Mosier are fans of the flick and even talked about it during one of their special features intros on the "Clerks X" DVD released in 2004....basically, once MGM got wind of this, they asked them if they'd like to actually follow through and do a commentary on it (for a SE re-release of the DVD), and they jumped at the chance....

Anyway, to answer the original poster's question, yes, the BD/DVD combo pack has the Smith/Mosier commentary, but only on the DVD unfortunately (the BD disc is the movie only with no special features).....

What WMA said, and just wanted to add that it is a very enjoyable commentary, disclaimer that I'm a big Smith fan.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

First post updated. The only new release IR is for Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. A couple of older new release titles have had IRs reinstated, as well (Wolfman, Dear John).

Summer Entertainment Guide Coupons

I received a magazine in the mail this week from BJ's titled, "BJ's Summer Entertainment Guide," and on the back cover were some coupons and three of those coupons were BD or DVD related. Check out the images I scanned:

1 - Save $10 when you buy any two Blu-ray titles
2 - Save $10 when you purchase "The Incredibles" or "Finding Nemo" or Monster's Inc." or "Cars" on DVD
3 - Save $5 when you purchase Alice in Wonderland on DVD or Blu-ray

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

I don't know if this has been posted in the thread, or if even this is considered a deal, but I picked up The Rockford Files Set, Season 5 for $9.99.
I was checking out the Law & Order Season Sets (at $19.99) looking to see if they had Season 7 yet.

Just a reminder that this is the last weekend to use the BD $10 off coupon posted. So far I've done well with the coupon:

12 Monkeys ($9.99) and Cinderella Man ($9.99) for $9.98 TOTAL after discount
Minority Report ($14.99) and Collateral ($14.99) for $19.98 TOTAL after discount
Negotiator ($13.99) and Secondhand Lions ($13.99) for $17.98 TOTAL after discount

6 quality BD's for $47.94 or $7.99 average is a decent deal.

Probably going to get two more this weekend.

Do you happen to know if they have Season 6 for $9.99? That is the only season that I'm missing and $10 is a great price. Thanks.

This was the only one of any Rockford Series Sets that I saw in this particular store. Like I said, I found it with all the Law & Orders Sets, and it was just sort of sitting there by itself.
It seems to me that B.J. Stores vary on how they are stocked on certain titles store by store.

Don't know how you've managed to snag so many of those coupons, but... Rock on.

First post updated with current IRs.

The customer service desk employee was kind enough to cut just the $10 BD coupon out of a few magazines and give them to me

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

After some of the difficulties I've run into with B&N with their coupons, I was surprised at how easy BJ's was for accepting computer printed coupons (even though it states quite clearly that they're only supposed to accept originals).

I snatched up today at 2 different BJ's:

Deliverance $5
Groundhog Day $5
Eyes Wide Shut $5
The Shining $10
Shaun of the Dead $5
Cabin Fever $3

I'm thinking about another trip and grabbing An American in Paris and Gigi for $10 each (though I'm still hoping Amazon will eventually price-drop them like they did with Adventures of Robin Hood).

Schway. Where are they located? If you're talking the August Entertainment Guide, that would be totally awesome, because most clubs usually get those in by the box-full.

August Home Entertainment Review. It's 8 pages long with a picture of Date Night on the front. The coupons are on the back page. This was located with the DVDs at this particular BJ's(Fairfield, CT).

I was shot down today trying to use a printed copy of the coupon. I'm on a road trip tomorrow so if I pass close to another BJ's I'll try again...but I'm happy I managed to get 6 blu's yesterday! --Peter

Got my last two today:

Mystic River ($12.99) and Creepshow ($9.99) for $12.98 TOTAL after discount.

Ended with 8 BD's for $60.92 or $7.62 average. Also picked up a few copies of the "August Home Entertainment Review" so I have some $5 off any BD coupons to use in August now

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Monster's Inc and Cars had a $5 IR at my club. They also applied the coupon I printed from above. Kids already have Cars but I ended up getting Monster's Inc 2 Disc for $5 and change.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

I'm hoping for a good deal on James and the Giant Peach this week. I already have the $10 manufacturer's coupon from the Disney Movie Rewards website. Add the $5 off any Blu-ray coupon to that since BJ's allows one manufacturer's coupon and one BJ's coupon to be used. I imagine there will be an instant coupon as well. It may be possible to nab it for around $5 at BJ's.
