Thanks!
Well if you plan on getting this (or any of the DVD/Blu-Rays you listed) go today
so you can take advantage of the $15 off BJs DVD/Blu-Ray TV set coupon as it
expires after today.

As for the price of FF - not sure - probably be around Best Buys price of $45.
With the coupons/rebates going around - you should get this cheap - under $10.
Say its $45 - $15 off BJs coupon - $15 off Flash Forward coupon - $10 ABC TV rebate
(with Guacamole purchase) = $5.00 before taxes etc.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Just got back from my BJ's store - Tonawanda, NY.

No Flash Forward DVD - Crud - I definiately wanted to do that deal I posted above.
(went to Target after - saw it for $39.99 at Target - I passed - left my $15 off FF
coupon next to the DVD - hopefully someone uses it.)

Vampire Diaries on DVD was $34.99 after a $5.00 instant rebate that expires on Sept 5.
So with the $15 off BJs TV on DVD coupon that expired today - $19.99.
Since I couldn't do Flash Forward - I got Vampire Diaries instead.
I couldn't find it on Blu-Ray.

I changed my mind and decided to get Lost-Season Six. Unfortunately I changed my
mind this morning and not during release week so I figured the orginial price would be
like $47 since its not release week. Well the cost was $43.99 (my guess this was the
price during release week) and then there was a $5 instant rebate that expires on
Sept 5 so it made it $38.99. Then I used the $15 off BJ's TV on DVD coupon/$10 off
ABC on DVD coupon so it brought it down to $13.99. Then I'll do the $10 off ABC on
DVD mail-in rebate with the gucamole purchase. (My Aunt actually likes the stuff so
it won't be a waste for me to buy it and its pretty cheap at my local Wal-Mart store.)
So after its all said and done - I'll get Lost-Season Six for around $6-$7 with tax.

I then had four of those $5 off Blu-Ray coupons - so I picked up Running Man/
Rambo First Blood/Phantom for $2.99 each and Speed DVD/Blu-Ray combo for $4.99.

Couldn't find Sons of Anarchy - The Middle - 90210-Season 2 - on Blu-Ray or DVD there.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Picked up these last 6, bringing my total haul for the month to 16 Blu's for $81.41 total, or an average of $5.09 each with taxes. Amazing.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

I just got the September issue of Home Entertainment Review and there are two coupons that are substantially less impressive than last month-

$5 off Iron Man 2 Blu-ray 9/28 through 10/15

$10 off any TV series $29.99 and up 9/01 through 10/01

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

They didn't have any when I checked my club on Tuesday. While not as good as the $15 off, the $10 off a $29.99 TV season still isn't too bad.

Depending on what other places have Ironman2 for, I may go with this.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

The Iron Man 2 BD is going to be priced at $28.99 (sans coupon or any IR they might have), so the coupon will bring it down to $23.99. Hoping for at least a $4 IR to put it at a reasonable $19.99 price point. We shall see.

FYI: dragion from the Blu-ray.com forums reports that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is $24.99 (after $4 IR) through 09/18, making it $16.99 after the Disney manufacturer's coupon.

Hooray for another Western New Yorker!!! I prefer the BJs on Transit compared to the Tonawanda one.

Yeah, but the Tonawanda one is hidden behind a Tops. The Transit one has more traffic next to the Super Wal-Mart, and has to compete. Maybe that is why their Blu-ray selection tends to be better.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Didn't see any signs for TV show instant rebates but maybe they just didn't have them up:
  • Castle S2 - $39.99 (so $19.99 after the two coupons)
  • Desperate Housewives - S6? - $39.99 (so $19.99 after the two coupons)
  • How I Met Your Mother - S5 - $19.99!
  • Community - S1 - $29.99 I think
  • Less Than Perfect - S1 - $12.99 (this came out last week)
In separate displays I saw:
  • A bunch of seasons of King of Queens and Married With Children for $9.99
  • A bunch of 4-movie DVDs for $9.99

Also remember you can do the $10 Wholly Guacamole rebate for Castle S2 and Desperate Housewives S6 so that will knock down another $10 for each. (You do have to buy 1 Wholly Guacamole product.)

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Sorry, went to the store but I am looking for the TV shows. I usually don't pay attention to the films unless there is some coupon or they are under $15 max. I think Iron Man had an IR (may be been $22.99 after rebate) and the other one was either $22.99 or $24.99.
Cleveland Show S1 was $20 and the same with Scrubs S9.

IM2 was $28.99 with a $4 instant rebate, so $24.99...and then you can use their $5 off IM2 coupon from this month's "Home Entertainment Review" in-store handout and get it down to $19.99.....

GHTTG was $26.99 and had no IR.....

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Beauty and the Beast and Karate Kid (new one) bu-rays were both $22.99 after IR.

So for B&TB you are better off buying at TRU where it's also $22.99 and you can get an additional $5 off if you preorder Toy Story 3 (don't have to actually buy it later). Both stores will take the $10 coupon as well.

I didn't see any October Entertainment Guides, so don't know if there's any new coupons.
