I saw Bolt at WalMart with a 52 (?) page comic book.. I haven't checked if any Canadian WalMart is getting the same..

I also saw Shrek the Third with a bonus DreamWorks disc.. I don't know it was exclusive to Walmart.. It was attached to the back and was labelled the big green disc, even through the print was in silver.

I just saw the weekly ad for Best Buy. There is definitely a steelbook for Black Freighter.

There is also a poster for Clone Wars: A Galaxy Divided at Toys R Us, and a patch at Best Buy.

In the "from out of left field" category for this week, yesterday I was at the Best Buy on Rt. 10 in East Hanover, NJ and found Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull... in the FYE exclusive steelbook! It had a different label on the front, a brown sticker saying something like "only available here," without specifying a particular retailer. It was selling for $24.99 and they had about a dozen of them. I passed on this item, as I had last year cuz I didn't like having just 1 of the 4 Indy movies in a steelbook, but I figured people here would appreciate this very strange development (with regard to one chain's exclusive showing up at another, so soon after its original release).

That is very interesting indeed! On release day of Dark Knight, a small shipment of the steelbook version (FYE Exclusive) showed up in Best Buy. There was a big confusion and ultimately, Best Buy had to box it up and send it back to the supplier as corporate said it was a mistake. A few copies were sold to customers that made a big stint about it, I think.

BJ's Club will have Quantum of Solace DVD for $14.99, but only THROUGH THE 29th. Just the one-disc version, I believe.

I'm hoping the book is also with the Blu-Ray, like they did with Indy 4 and Clone Wars...

I also find this amusing because in my city, the BB exclusive Indy set didn't sell out. But I guess they were willing to take a chance on getting the steelbook, since those usually sell well...

Checked this morning but no Blu-Rays with book. Bummer. 2 steps forward, 1 step back on Blu-Ray exclusives.

Was the book just wrapped with the standard dvd or packaged inside a wider slipcase similar to the Clone Wars? Thanks!

Found a pretty good deal at Costco today. The three Fast and Furious movies have been re-released recently (today?) in 2 disc editions, each with $7.50 movie cash for the upcoming 4th movie. They were $8.99 each at Costco, so, after movie cash, I consider them $1.50 each.

Also found a new-to-me (I think) exclusive at Best Buy. The horror film Beyond the Door has a 2nd disc exclusive to the BB version, featuring the US theatrical cut and an extended interview with star Juliet Mills.

You definetly stumbled across a rare bird there. I saw them going for big bucks on ebay. I was able to get one from BB a couple months ago.

I almost didn't buy it, as who knows, I may have bought it months ago and it is buried somewhere here in these mountains. But I guess I can at least break even on selling the dupe if I find another copy buried here months from now.

Really? Those are rare? I see multiple copies at both Best Buys near me on a refular basis. Maybe I ought yo pick up a copy then. Is the movie any good?

One with the bonus disc ended for a $34.99 buy-it-now in eBay's current completed listings. Big bucks? I've seen bigger. I guess that's about $7 profit after eBay and PayPal fees assuming a $20 + tax purchase price.

Checked some FYE/Suncoast prices. Bolt Blu-Ray was $32.99 with a $7 rebate. $1.50 cheaper than TRU's price when all is said and done, if you're a Backstage Pass member. I think the Black Freighter Blu-Ray was the same price or possibly $29.99 to start. The Black Freighter standard DVD was $19.99 with a $7 rebate.
