Went out looking for Ben-Hur and Dirty Dozen but came up empty. Though I was happy to pick up The Green Mile 2-disc for $4.99.

Anyone know if there is a delay going from east coast to west coast at these stores like there is with the Big Lots thread? East coasters seem to spot this stuff a few days or more sooner than it shows up on the west coast.

I'd really like to find that Ben-Hur and I came up empty at my local store also. Wondering if I should keep checking back.

I think it's just a matter of luck. When I read Skidmark's April 8th post of how he found How the West Was Won (Ultimate Collector's Edition) for $3.99, I was thinking that they may have more. So, I went to a local Marshalls store last Friday, but found Ben-Hur and The Dirty Dozen instead. My advice: keep checking back once a week or two weeks.

Stopped by Marshalls, I was surprised to see some Blu Rays in the bin.

They had The Reader with Kate Winslet for $9.99 and Sex In The City The Movie Blu I think it was $6.99.

San Bernardino, CA.

I can't remember the last time I was inside a Marshalls. Forgot we had one here. The store is covered by various other stores.

I found two copies of...

The Dirty Dozen: Two - Disc Special Edition
Chasing Amy: The Criterion Collection
Ben-Hur: Four-Disc Collector’s Edition

Took home one copy of "The Dirty Dozen" ($3.99). They had more titles than expected, but most are stuff I have no interest in. It should be noted; if it hasn't been mentioned earlier. Check prices on titles that have various copies. The price tag I didn't always match, some were a dollar cheaper than the others of the same batch.

Found only one copy of Mandingo at TJ Maxx. Bought the Dirty Dozen and Dirty Harry (newer edition) at Marshalls a few days ago. Both stores had fully stocked dvd shelves.

Picked up Grizzly Man and Away From Her for $3.99 each at the Burlington, NJ Marshalls. They had Target stickers on the wrapping, and gouged UPC's. Also saw Batman Returns (two disc) and The Dead Zone S5.

The cashier oooh'd lovingly when she saw the cover of Grizzly Man, and asked if there were more copies. I wonder if she was planning to buy a copy for her kids...

I picked up The Green Mile 2-Disc SE at a local Marshalls store for $4.99 ... (then went to Walmart and saw a single disc version of this movie for $5.)

I picked up No Country For Old Men this afternoon for $9.99. It was the single disc version, but for that price I'll take it.

The only Blu I came across in my TJ Maxx/Marshall's hunt Saturday was Boiler Room. At 9.99 I decided against it. I did find and buy the 2 disc SD version of Enter the Dragon for 4.99 so it wasn't a wasted trip. I do wish I had found that Ben Hur set.

Until last friday,i've never set foot in a Marshalls/TJ Maxx store. However,in the last 72 hours i've been in 12! I found something to buy at 7 stores. Not a bad average.Only found one copy each of the Ben-Hur four disc & How the West Was One C.E. Saw two copies of the Dirty Dozen two disc. One priced at 4.99 the other 3.99.I picked up the four disc Best of the Price Is Right for 3.99.This will make a nice companion piece to my Best of the Match Game set. Finally,as a testament to my dvd addiction i bought Boston Celtics-The Complete History five disc box set for 3.99....and i hate basketball!

Until today, neither had I... Happened to be next to one, so I stopped in.

The Incredible Hulk [Norton] (Three-Disc Special Edition) - $4.99
In Bruges - $3.99

They had several priced at $4.99 that interested me but Big Lots! and the $3 DVD has me spoiled. I'll probably go back though...

Never found How the West Was Won at TJ Maxx or Marshalls but did finally find it at Ross. Latest sights at TJ Maxx were a few seasons of Saved by the Bell (don't recall price) and the 10-disc Elvis movie boxset for $29.99.

Went to a TJ Maxx and two Marshall's stores and found a single copy of the Ben Hur 4-disc CE at Marshall's Southdale Mall store (Edina, MN.) and the Dirty Dozen two-disc SE (all 3 stores) for $3.99 each. Also seen there were single copies of Saved By the Bell S-5 ($9.99) and a season of Little House On the Prairie for $19.99.
