I just came back from the store after picking up Amadeus. Didn't know that One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was also part of the deal.

Some of those prices might not show up in store, Casino rang up $24.99, but was overrided.

Amazon appears to be price matching some (maybe all?) of these. I've got Casino, The Untouchables and The Hunt for Red October in the cart at $14.99 each.

Amadeus is now $14.99 on Amazon (it wasn't earlier today). So is Babel.

Went onto Best Buy's website this morning to find out the following bd titles of interest were priced at $14.99:

Amadeus, Ghost, Jarhead, American Gangster, Casino, U-571, Miami Vice, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Tears of the Sun.

Then, knowing that Best Buy's online store check doesn't show quantities under three (so I've been told), I figured I would stop in just in case. With the exception of American Gangster, Jarhead, Tears of the Sun and One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, the rest were out of stock.

I ended up purchasing only Tears of the Sun and One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. What I don't understand is that most of these titles have been out of stock at my Best Buy for several weeks.
Hopefully Amazon will price match now...

They price-matched The Mummy at Amazon at 14.99. One flew Over the Cuckoos Nest they have not.

I'm definately in for BHD. Most of the others I already have the BD or the HD version. I think Top Gun would be a good looking disc but I have the SE that I never watch. I don't think I need the BD to never watch.

If the Top Gun version is the same as the HD DVD version I would skip it. I have the SE version and can't really tell the difference.

FYI Fry's has 8 BD's for $13.99 and a few others for $12.99. I price-matched Irobot,Die Hard,Patton,House of flying daggers and Starship Troopers.

30 days, but you have to choose a good reason for the return or you'll have to pay for return shipping... But it shouldn't be that expensive to ship back one DVD anyway...

Do the President's Day coupons (expiring today) work for any of these? I'm mainly interested in Repo, Amadeus, and Hunt for Red Oct. Some sale items the 10% comes off, and some do not. The rules of course state they are only valid on Regular Prices, but I always try it since the system sometimes takes it off anyway...

Probably the same 10%-12%(RewardZone) coupons off up to 3 items Bestbuy always have a knack of sending to my house AFTER the date the coupons are good for.

Repo rang up at my BB for $24.99, but the gal went and looked at the website and gave it to me for $14.99. Minus my reward zone $5 coupon I walked out with it for $10.81 :D.

My Target also got restocked for the John Adams HBO deal for $14.99 (oddly ringing up for $34.99, but I got that one overrode too, twas a day for overriding). Happy me today. :D

They must have changed it back, since it is indeed $14.99 right now. I just ordered it, along with 2 cheap HD-DVD's... Impossible to find Amadeus at my local stores. I tried 4 different BB's on Monday. It was nowhere to be found...

Not sure, but you could always just order it for $15 and return the one you get with your $30 receipt.

Amadeus came out less than a month ago so you can take it back with your receipt and you'll get the difference back + 10% more. That's their policy.

you likely won't get 10% off the difference since they are just price adjusting their own price rather than price-matching a competitor

YMMV, I received 110% of the price difference when I picked-up my online Amadeus purchase. I asked the CSR person if I should get the 10% difference since I had already purchased the item online and paid in full and the price had dropped during my pick-up. The CSR asked the manager, who approved the additional 10% of the price difference.
