Well, invisiblegt there is saying that taking advantage of someone else's mistake is inherently wrong, regardless of method. Different approach to things. As far as invisiblegt is concerned, it's an accurate moral assessment. Obviously you disagree. I don't see anyone budging.

If a cashier fucks up, I most definitely am not going to say a word, it has happened to me a couple of times, if they can't do their job correctly then oh well.

Even at 40% off, I can't bring myself to pick up any Blu-Ray discs....not when I've been getting HD DVDs for $5 or less....sigh.....
Anyways, I picked up The Da Vinci Code 2 Disc WS Special Edition (was actually a 3 disc'er - it included a CD-ROM of Dan Brown's Angels & Demons) stickered at $9.99 and The Tai Chi Master w/Jet Li stickered at $14.99.

Let me just chime in here then I'll drop it before we get too far off track. Last night I was at CC picking up a BD, pay then head to the door, they had a guy right by the only cash register double checking receipts and circling the no refunds policy. Off from the side some guy starts heading for the door with something in his hand and carrying a receipt. It was obvious he hadn't just paid and I could easily tell he was stealing something. Even after the guy got his attention he was still heading for the door. The door master quickly checks the receipt and lets the guy go. Sure enough the alarm goes crazy and this guy just keeps walking. I watched him head to the car, he was wearing a big sweatsuit and he had some bulky shit in his pockets. I think it was pretty obvious.
I would never rationalize theft. I do think there is an inherent difference between strealing and taking advantage of a clerical error. At this point it was pretty obvious no one there gave a crap. If they don't why should I?

Overheard some of the workers at the local Circuit city talking about how they have to have to work 12 hour shifts because of all the people being fired for stealing. And the guy at the door checking receipts, at the store I went to, wasnt "checking" receipts epr se, just looking at it and scribbling something on it. he never once looked in my bag, or at my bag.

Anyway, the Culver City CA store is still at 40% off dvds and Blu-rays. They had a pretty decent selection of dvds. There were a lot of Genteration Kill boxsets and Dark Knight 1 discers. I ended up getting a Sony HT-SS2300 HTiB for $300. It appears everywhere else is selling it for $50 to $100 more so I think I got a decent deal. If anybody is interested it looked like they have a few more in stock.

Drove by my CC here in Jackson, MS and they were loading up the fixtures!
Had assumed they would be open for a while longer.

Stopped in a Manhattan CC last night. 40% off CD's and DVD's.
I grabbed:
"Batman- The Movie" BluRay @ $17.99
Maroon 5 - "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" CD/DVD combo DE @ $8.39
Ringo Starr "Photograph - The Very Best Of" CD/DVD combo DE @ $12.59
I would rather have gotten these when the discount was maybe 75% off, but there was only one copy of each there & I knew they'd be long gone before that. Plus, this is the best prices I've ever seen on these anyway. It'll be interesting to see what's left when they do get to that high a discount.

Yesterday, picked up the 2-disc Special Collector's Edition of Event Horizon (SD) for $5.99.
From what I've read, DVD and CD prices drop to 50% off today. Not sure if it's nationwide, though.

The one on fifth ave here in NYC is pretty much done, hardly anything left. The superstore on 86th street is closed, and the Union Square location still has tons and is seemingly a depot for more inventory as they never seem to look empty. Have not been to the west side to see if that store is even still open.

Even though I doubt that the "Hancock" 3-disc would have been all gone by the time the price drop went below 40% (they had 8 or 9 copies left) I went ahead and picked it up today for $17.99.
Also picked up "Head of State" for $4.19.
My CC had tons of DVDs, Blu-Rays, and Video Games (except for Wii games) left. I really was hoping to find the 2-disc "Step Brothers" though.

All games and dvd's were 50 percent off at my local Circuit. Managed to pick up the 5 disc blu-ray of Blade Runner that someone tried to hide behind a bunch of workout videos. The funny thing is that even at 50 percent some of their stuff for sale is still too expensive.

Picked up The Living Daylights 2-disc Ultimate Edition for $9.00 this morning.
The only TV series left was Prehistoric Planet and Big Love.
Mostly what's left is one copy of each dvd, with a few exceptions. For some reason there are still about 10 copies of Jeepers Creepers left on the shelf.
Mine still had one copy of Meet the Spartans with the T-shirt in stock. Guess even at 50% nobody wants it.

She ended up giving the money back because she didn't want to go to hell. Theft is theft no matter how much time you try spinning it around in your head.
Do I give a crap? Nope, but it's still theft and a funny videoto laugh at. The item she bought was a cashmere collar that was really expensive. It cost 2, maybe 3 dollars.

Fallout 3 Special Edition for Xbox 360- $35.99
The regular price is $80 but it must have rung up as $60 before the 40% off. Awesome deal.

Any deals on the Sony S350 blu-ray player? I haven't stopped by CC myself, but if anyone does, lemme know what it's going for, if they have any.
