I picked up the two-disc Indiana Jones 4 for $12. I had my eye on it as the discounts kept creeping up. I may hit a few more locations tomorrow, for a final run.

Everything in the Shelbyville Road store in Louisville, KY is almost gone. They had 5 copies of Guitar Hero 3 for PS3 (35 bucks w guitar) and about 15-20 PS3 Les Paul controllers (16 bucks).

Bunch of "Conan: Age of Hyborean" for PC left.

The CC exclusive of "Meet the Spartans" on Blu-Ray with a T-shirt. Those were the only two Blu's left.

If you can find a good deal, good luck.

I went to the Temecula, CA store yesterday. There were about 100 DVD's and 100 CD's left. No Blu Rays left. There was one full sized TV, and a bunch of 19" TV's left. It was almost completely empty. I'm going to check out the Carmel Mountain store tonight on the way home just to see what's left there.

It's pretty much over around here.

Made my one and only liquidation purchase from Hagerstown MD today.

In Bruges $6.60
Logitech Harmony One $125.00

I'm going to miss that store, it just sucks that the liquidation is my last memory.

Hardly anything left at Capitola, CA CC.

Went there a couple days ago with my girlfriend and we didn't find anything.

Only things I remember left were:

Lost S3 (Blu-ray)
Grey's Anatomy S4
Live and Let Die (Blu-Ray)
This Christmas (Blu-Ray)
Shutter (Blu-Ray)

and various Fox TV sets.

Re: Circuit City Liquidation Deals (post your finds here)

I went to the Lakeland, FL store today and they had about 200 DVDs and 2 Blu-ray movies left. The discount is 70%. Two weeks ago, when the discount was only 30% they probably had 500 Blu-ray movies. I can't image that they were all sold to local customers because I don't think Blu-ray is very popular in this part of the country. They still have a lot of computer and A/V cables left and not much else.

I was just at that store today as well. There was still Mrs. Doubtfire on BD when I was there at about 12:30 .

But they did have about 50 BDs left as of Friday, but they were clearing out fast. I picked up S1 of Samantha Who for $8.00 for the wife. They still had about one aisle full of DVDs, but nothing tempting except In Bruges and Run, Fatboy, Run. I doubt I'll be back again, I bet that store is wiped out by Wednesday.

Decatur, IL is shuttered and from all external appearances, Champaign's appears to be on it's final legs. Still tempted to check Bloomington and Peoria.... but I'm not sure if it's worth the drive.

Re: Circuit City Liquidation Deals (post your finds here)

I went to the Carmel Mountain store in Northern San Diego tonight, not a whole lot left but I did pick up...

Mash Season 11 DVD - $10.50

I had the thing in my hands on two previous occasions (at 50% and 60% off respectively), but was buying so much other stuff that I decided to wait and see if it was still there when they hit 70% - it was, and I snapped it up!

It's kind of sad to see what was once a great retail chain go down like this (I even worked at the Carmel Mountain store for about 4 days back in 1995 as a "loaner" from the Vista Circuit City that I normally worked at). When I worked there Circuit City really was the best electronics chain around. That sure changed over the decade that followed. Mismanagement will kill you every time.

Woodland Hills has a lot but nothing worthwhile in the Blu-ray dept unless you want a thousand copies of GI Jane, Desperate Housewives and Ladder 49. Why would they order so many? Boggles my mind.

Went to Tustin Circuit City-at 70% off and 5 days left...hardly anything left to speak of-1 aisle of cds and dvds-lots of blu ray copies of This Christmas at $29.99-only blu ray title left. Even at 70% not even a middling deal.

Lakeview Terrace DVD $6.60
Dane Cook - Retaliation CD/DVD $4.80
Brian Wilson - That Lucky Old Sun CD $4.20
